After discovering this place with a Google search and seeing how remotely located it is we decided to give it a try due to its five-star rating. The rating is spot on! When we came in we were welcomed by the owners husband and wife (newly married) and she (Carolina & Luca) thoroughly went through all of the items on the menu to explain what our options were. So, we started with a bottle of prosecco and then ordered the combination charcuterie board and some olives to start. They use authentic meats from Italy and the very tasty bread (torta al testo) is homemade and follows the Umbria Italy tradition. Next on our tour of this menu was the burrata fritter. A tasty dish that is served warm and breaded for the winter days. We finished our main meal with a pork torta that was very tasty. My only recommendation is that they would also give a side of the gravy that is inside for dipping. And finally dessert was a pair pie with ricotta cheese that was very unique and different. Not too sweet although this is something that is not on the menu at all times. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30

Host was extremely charming and kind. We thought Malfamati was a wonderful establishment, and ever dish we tried was great. There were five of us so we got to experience a decent portion of the menu, and would highlight the wild boar stew and whatever torta looks appealing to you. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives in Lisbon or is visiting who wants an excellent taste of Umbrian cuisine. What a great place! We came here looking for authentic Umbrian food. The lasagna was fabulous as well as ham and cheese. Great wine. Absolutely recommended! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person €25–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Malfamati and it was truly an outstanding experience. We feel that this restaurant is like an extension of one's own home, thanks in no small part to the welcoming and attentive staff—Carolina, Luca, and Gabriele.Their professionalism and genuine warmth added a personal touch that elevated the entire dining experience. Each dish, a symphony of flavors and textures, is meticulously prepared to perfection and also a great wine list. A particular highlight of our dining experience was the tiramisu, which, without exaggeration, stands as the best in the city.
