Wow. I sat down thinking, this will probably be good. I was so wrong, this may be the best overall restaurant I have eaten at in all of Dallas Fort Worth. That means even steak restaurants like Knife. The desert blew me away... the vegetarian curry was so good, the vegetarian drunken noodles was amazing, and I eat anything but even the veggies dishes are better than 50% of the meat meals I have had. Just so good. But then the wait staff... so much extra time spent talking with us, making us feel extra special. The staff makes this an extra special night out. Anyone who follows me needs to try this place!!! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice Smash
This was such a great place. This was my husband and I’s first time here and it did not disappoint. I am highly allergic to shellfish but they were so accommodating with my need to change things. The Pho was amazing, the broth was beyond flavorful. The red curry cod was outstanding but the biggest star was the drunken noodles with chicken…WOW…what an explosion of flavor. I definitely made sure my leftovers flew back to Indiana with me. Chaney who wasn’t our server but did all the serving was phenomenal. He was kind and patient and we really loved all his recommendations. He was attentive and excellent. He definitely is a gem. I highly recommend this fine restaurant and can’t wait to come again. Malai was impressive! My friend took me and I fell in love! Everything we had was amazing! My absolute favorites were the sugar cane ginger drink and the drunken noodles. It was a dream! Service was great and the restaurant was so cute! Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
My wife and I recently discovered this restaurant, and we absolutely love it! Everything we ate tasted amazing. We are excited to come back and try more items on the menu. The customer service was incredible. Any time an employee walked past our table they asked if we needed something. It wasn't just our waitress making sure we were satisfied. 5 stars for sure. The appetizers were really good, we got the beef samosas as well as the Vietnamese style grilled pork patties. However, my brother and I both found relatively big pieces of plastic in our main dishes…these made it feel like there must be some issues with sanitation in the kitchen… We didn’t bring it up there bc only my brother found the plastic in his but I later found plastic in mine after i took my leftovers togo and as I continued to eat it.. Not to our surprise, my brother had diarrhea and a bad stomach ache and I don’t know if this prevented me from having diarrhea as well, but I threw up after consuming my food. Plus, the waitresses were constantly taking our plates as SOON as it seemed empty, as if they wanted us to hurry up and finish and leave…one time the waitress didnt even ask if we were finished and took the plate even though we weren’t finished with the pickled salad on the plate…this would have not been much of a deal if their food was at least CLEAN. Also, just wondering do they not serve the free sticky rice w eggplant sauce anymore? Bc if they do then not sure why we weren’t given any?? I could be wrong it could only be a weekend thing now I guess.. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

We visited Malai Kitchen for the first time today in Southlake and we loooved it! For starters our server, Sakoun S, was very friendly and thorough with her explanation of the day’s specials and menu. She also confirmed with us more than once on if we had any dietary restrictions or allergies which is not something I usually experience in most places. I tried one of the new drinks that wasn’t listed on the menu and my spouse had the mule on the menu. Both delicious and I was surprised at how big my drink was! We enjoyed the 2 for $12 appetizers (we chose fried imperial rolls [in the pic but please note it included 4 rolls- we just ate them and the satay right away lol] and the chicken satay). For entres I had the Chicken Pad Thai with no spice but wish I would’ve added some spice! I did use their sriracha and it was a perfect addition. My spouse had the Lemon Grass Chicken and it was amazing as well. The whole place is cute and clean. Really great vibe. I would definitely recommend you check this out! Love this place! Another one of my top 5. Cozy ambience, good drinks and incredible food. Of course food is important but a good Thai place must serve a good Thai tea so started off with that. During winter I’d prefer the Lemongrass soup. They serve sticky rice wrapped in banana leaf with egg plant dip as a complimentary appetizer which is quite authentic. I’ve tried most of their noodle dishes but my favorite is the drunken noodles with shrimp and a close second would be the glass noodle. For our sweet treat I tried the chocolate roti for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. If you love Thai food I’m sure you might have visited this place but if not then do go try it out. Make a prior reservation as there’s always a wait. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Mango Sticky Rice Smash

3.7 stars. Been many years since our 1st visit so we decided to stop in for dinner. We waited about 5 minutes before we were acknowledged and seated. Server (Mohamed) was polite and informative. We started with a Sampler ($17) and order of Imperial Rolls ($8). Both were good but nothing extraordinary. Our party ordered a Basil Chicken ($16), Pad Thai ($16), Massaman Curry ($19) and 3 Chiang Mai Noodles ($17 x 3). Overall mixed reviews on the entrees. Our son was underwhelmed by the Massaman rating it a 4 out of 10. The Chiang Mai Noodles were average at best as the traditional richness of the coconut curry was absent and substituted with a green curry and veggies. All-in with auto gratuity of 20% was $173.14. While the restaurant environment and decor is nice, the food was average. We felt for the money paid that there are better options elsewhere for a fraction of the cost.
