So glad there is a Malaysian restaurant in DFW again. The decor is modern and clean. The service is good. And most importantly the food is great! Everything we ordered was delicious and authentic. There is also a good selection of desserts. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So glad to have authentic SEA food specifically from Malaysia in Tarrant County! Missed the dishes we used to drive to Carrollton Secret Recipe to get. Owner very easy going and willing to share, took time to explain the local (Malaysian/Singaporean) dessert options and how to store, rewarm before eating. Wait staff (?Regine?) also very accommodating, helped us get that famous Malacca Tofu in vegetarian option and definitely the highlight for me and meat eating wife. Very impressed with decor, color scheme, and especially the biodegradable to go containers with a tight lid! 🏆👏👍 Will definitely be back for more dishes and our friends just reported that they have snow pea shoots ( 豆苗)in season and most tender they tasted in long while. Keep up the good work! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Friends told us there's a new Malaysia restaurant opened in Southlake, we gotta try it. This place has good deco and wait staffs are very friendly and helpful. They do have authentic Malaysia food, but I'd not say they are good though. They are definitely are not bad food, but some of them lack of certain favor, or too salty. It doesn't hurt to give it a try, you might like it. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

There isn't a lot of Malaysian restaurants in DFW after the closure of Secret Recipe and I'm glad that one more opened up and gladly came to try it out. The place was well decorated and clean, and the waitress was responsive and attentive. The Roti Canai was the thick kind, which I liked and came with a nice chicken curry for dipping. The Malacca Satay was nice with very enjoyable sauce for dipping. The Char Kuey Teow has a lot of Wok Hei and tasted great. The Roti Bakar was extremely tasty with Kaya and thick slices of butter. The Nasi Lemak was also very well done and the Malacca Tofu was the star of the show, with a layer of egg at the bottom that was hidden in the photo. I would highly recommend anyone who enjoys authentic Malaysian food to come and try this place out. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nasi Lemak

They have some pretty good Malaysian dishes. I love the curry chicken and the hainanese chicken was also decent. The only thing is the red bean dessert was a bit too sweet for my taste. The place is bright and clean. I will be back to try other items Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Great dining place for family with relaxed ambience. They have an interactive projected walls (Kids love it!). Food is great and enriched with authentic Asian flavour. I had the Roti Bakar for appetizer. It tastes awesome! I would also recommend to try out the Dried Won Ton Mee (thumbs-up approval by my Korean uncle). The last time I tried something similar was in Penang, Malaysia. Nasi Lemak is really good although I wished it was spicier. Teh Tarik (Malaysian milk tea) is truly authentic and I love it. My greatest regret is missing the Malacca Tofu which I heard is one of the bestsellers. Will definitely come back again to give it a try! Edit: I tried the Malacca Tofu. It's truly MINDBLOWING! Rich flavour with crispy, soft tofu. (barely need to chew!) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Nasi Lemak

Dined at Malacca Cafe and loved it! The staff was super friendly, creating a warm atmosphere. Their Malacca Satay is a must-try, flavorful and juicy. Nami Lemak's coconut rice was comforting, and Char Kuey Teow had the perfect smoky taste. Excellent service added to the great food. Highly recommend for authentic Malaysian cuisine! Loved the ambiance, the service, the food, and the people working there. It felt a bit upscale going into the restaurant, but the food and the people make it homey. They also have a glass wall to separate the party room. I like the idea of whether you are facing the window and can look outside, or if you are facing the wall, you can look at the huge animated projection. They also have 3 tvs toward the checkout area. We had the malacca satay which came with a peanut coconut sauce that was amazing. The Nasi Lemak was our first time having this Malaysian dish, and we enjoyed it so much. Our favorite dish was the malacca tofu - made with egg tofu and a fried egg on a sizzling plate with a great sauce. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very good Malaysian restaurant with nasi lemak, chicken rice, roti chennai, kue tiau, sizzling egg tofu etc. I have friends who are picky when it comes to this food, and they liked this more. Dishes were priced around $17 each, were very good, all came with rice, with only con being some rice being hard. Personal favorites were the pork and satay skewers.
