Excellent Lebanese restaurant with a comfortable ambience and atmosphere. One of the oldest restaurants in Kuwait, that is popular with both locals and expats alike. The food is very good (although not necessarily the best I’ve had), reasonably quick to come out, and is backed by friendly & courteous service. Definitely a place I’d recommend to visit if you’re in Kuwait. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

This 70 year old restaurant is the best restaurant I have tried during my 3 weeks business trip in the Middle East area. You must try here if you have visited Kuwait. All the foods are being cooked marvelously! You will not deny this fact. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person KWD 8–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

70-year old history, Mais Alghanim is one of the best Kuwaiti restaurant's for sure. By serving exceptional-quality food with a super-delicious taste, providing outstanding service, and offering value-for-money meals, they actually prove how to gain love. Food was so delicious and good atmosphere was so perfect and calm. Service was so great too. The chicken biryani is so good and perfect for a good start for the day. I wish this restaurant has a branch in Saudi Arabia specially, in eastern province or at least it is not six hour drives. If you are the owner or the manager, please open a branch in Saudi Arabia please. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Top notch restaurant, with delicious local food and very kind staff. Grilled meat was juicy and full of flavor. Great Arabian milk pudding. Marina sea view is a nice side advantage :) Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person KWD 4–6 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Milk Pudding
The restaurant failed to meet the expectations set by its hype, particularly in terms of food quality and taste. The disparity in price was glaring, especially when compared to other establishments offering superior food and service. The shocking aspect was the exorbitant charge of 1.050 dinar for a regular bottle of water. Additionally, the service did not align with the restaurant's overhyped and overpriced image; it lacked the greatness and pleasantness one would anticipate. In summary, the restaurant appears to be overhyped and overpriced, delivering an overall experience that falls short, characterised by average food quality and less-than-ideal service. This is one of the best Middle Eastern meals of my entire life, and since it was my first time eating out in Kuwait, it makes me wonder: is this considered a typical meal here in terms of quality?! Where to begin. Well, it started with the best Middle Eastern tea of my life. They have a local name for it that I don’t recall, and it’s utterly unique. I figured I’d finally try fuul= mashed fava bean stew with lemon and spices. Amazing. Again, it’s my first time trying it so take my recommendation with a grain of salt. They give you both pre made pita and fresh tandoori bread which is obviously way better. Fried cheese! It reminded me of the Greek flaming cheese dish, and if I had a critique, it’s that the portion size is too big. The real highlight was the mixed chicken kebab. I know that sounds generic and uninspired but they got some of the best charcoal perfuming I’ve ever had on chicken, and I’ve had tons of grilled chicken in my day. They had 3-4 different marinades and they were all excellent and totally different from one another. One was possibly saffron. No idea what the others were but it was unlike any spice mix I’ve tried. As a foreigner looking for top notch Middle Eastern food, this was a fantastic treat of a meal and it’s certainly no secret amongst the locals.
