My wife and I have been coming to Main Moon since 2004, my wife's family since the mid 1990's. This is our favorite Chinese food in the entire state. Seriously. We eat here about twice a month and have had consistantly good food for twenty years. The staff know us and are always friendly. This is a great family owned business and one we intend to support for as long as possible. Food: 5 Service: 5

This place is a joke. The food is consistently below average to bad, and it’s overpriced. 15-18 dollars for chicken and rice? Come on. What’s worse, is that there are almost no other options for okay Chinese in the area! Main Moon thrives on being in a city where there is no good Chinese and people don’t know any better. I asked the manager to replace the egg roll and wonton chips we were shorted our visit several weeks ago. She said she couldn’t help me if I didn’t call it in and tell them and because she can’t just trust someone to be honest. Huh! I just spent $72.00 on a pickup order for tonight’s dinner. ..I would have ordered roughly $30 worth of food.. if they hadn't kept hanging up on me.. no service care put forth.. ever. First things first, I absolutely LOVE this place. I’ve been coming here since way back, like all the way back to when it was opened. I’m not the type of person to do reviews, but I had to speak up because of all the negative reviews. I don’t understand how this small family owned restaurant would do some of the things mentioned in some reviews. I enjoy eating here, and I am know the Chen family very well, and they’ve never treated me wrong, or the other customers I’ve seen ordered when I was waiting for my food. I won’t be swayed by some negative comments, because I will always love and continue to eat here every weekend. Used to be the best Chinese food in town. Now it's just disappointing. The prices have gone up dramatically, and the portions are much smaller than before. The staff is always rude, and the food doesn't seem fresh. It's too bad, because I used to go out of my way to pick up food from this place on my way home from work. Not anymore. The food is great. I would recommend the chicken on a skewer, the general chicken, kung pao, or their hot and sour soup. Yum. No matter how spicy you request your food to be it won't be really spicy. Oh well. Still good food.
