Stumbled across this place on my way back to Austin and I’m so happy that I did! Crystal our server was the sweetest woman and deserves a raise. The food was excellent and hands down the best pancakes I have ever had. I definitely will be coming back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I've long come to this fine diner in Magnolia every opportunity. In every case it was for breakfast and I highly recommend it for breakfast if in the area. This day, however, it was lunch time and I devided to try their Chicken Fried Steak. It was ok. For me it was on the bland side, and while it arrived at the table crispy, that didn't last long. Could've used more gravy which was served on the side. The meat wasn't grisly but did have a faint warmed over flavor. The mashed potatoes seemed off too for some reason I couldn't put my finger on, sour milk? The black eye peas and texas toast stole the show for me today. Both were superb! Wife's omelet w friut were as good as ever. I'll definitely be back, but I will stick to eggs and hash browns which are served all day. We are new to the area, so we decided to explore the area for some go old-fashioned food (breakfast). The food was great. Home-cooked feel. Cindy was our waitress. she is AMAZING.
