Don’t ask for a bowl or larger plate if you’re sharing an entree. The owner and daughter said they don’t have enough bowls to go around. We are dieting and didn’t want to eat too much, so we shared an entree. I felt like we were being punished for sharing. We asked for a larger bowl or plate and she gave us a small 4x4 inch square plate. This is what we give people who share she said. I was shocked actually and when I questioned it they teamed up and were rude and not really concerned about our experience. You can decide to go here if you like that kind of treatment. And it was also a bit pricey for what you got. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is our favorite Thai restaurant. I think we go here pretty much every time we're in Joplin. I usually have the Tofu Duck Vegetable Delight. He usually gets the Three Flavor Fish. Sometimes, we get an appetizer, sometimes not. This time, we had the fresh spring rolls with peanut plum sauce. The service is very friendly and fast, and the prices and portions are reasonable. Highly recommend Magic Noodle. Worth traveling for. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tom Yum Noodle Soup
We've lived in Joplin for going on 5 years now. Every time we are on this side of town, my husband and I tell each other next time we need to try The Magic Noodle. We finally did, and I was very impressed. The service was just as great as the delicious food. It is now on my husband's top 3 (cheaper) go-to places in Joplin. The salad comes with each meal - try the unique salad dressing. We were told it's homemade. Two of us ate for just under $30 (that was with me adding shrimp to my order). It was overall a great experience.

This place has delicous food! This was my first time visiting and I wish I would have sooner. I loved the spring rolls and steamed dumplings. They come with a delicious dipping sauces. I had a beef mango salad 🥭🥗(shown in image.) Although the steak was a bit dry, it was still good with the dipping sauce. I probably wouldn't get it again though. My mom got the General Magic Chicken 🐔(shown in image) and she really enjoyed that. It came with a side of white rice which she DEVOURED. My sister also came with us but I didn't take any pictures of her food. If you DO come here, I would DEFINETLY recommend the spring rolls and dumplings. You won't regret getting them 🥟💕 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20
If you’re looking for Thai food in Joplin, Magic Noodle is a solid choice! I had the pineapple fried rice with chicken. The portion size was large and I was very pleased with the amount of chicken and cashews; slightly disappointed with the amount of pineapple, but still very good nonetheless. I was surprised to receive a little side salad before the entree; the dressing was excellent. The price was fair. The atmosphere in the restaurant is good and decorated for the season. I visited on a Wednesday night and they seemed short staffed, but the wait for food wasn’t long. The place was very busy, so that tells me others really like it too.

Stopped here on our way home. The food was great and we want to come back and try other menu items. Great service and a nice place to eat. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The mango curry is a new favorite of mine! I ordered it with shrimp only, no chicken. It was very tasty and fresh, and they included more mango than I expected - which was awesome. The serving size of the to-go curry seemed a little small, otherwise I would have given them 5 stars! The photo with this review doesn't include the shrimp, the bowl of rice, or the veggies/mango. What's seen is the serving size of the curry, with only a few of the other ingredients included.
The ambiance was very fitting to the theme of the resturaunt. The salads, appetizer, and main entre all came very quickly. In my opinion the food was good but with this kind of food it really depends on your tastes. The prices were a bit high but the portions were large. I personally wouldn't suggest bringing a large family here because of price and how specific each persons tastes have to be. For instance, I would reccomend this place to people who love good thai food.
