Slowest service ever. Unless your gonna stay for a few hours i don't recommend ordering food. Though the food is good. Ive been here serveral times and always food took 30 minutes or longer to be served this is a big complaint among their customers. The servers weren't the nicest.. though once i weren't and there was a very ocomidatiting young lady gave her fat tip. For a really good time at Lynons i recomend you eat before you go there. Last time i went staff was under age i had to get up and get my parties n my drinks. The Bar staff are the best . Nice vibe entertainment is always on point. They have great parking off street. It's also hard to find even with GPS. It sits back in the cut and the sign is small so if your not familiar with its location slow down nd look hard. Run, don't walk, to Lynon's! Aside from Craig's Kitchen in Vernon, this is the best soul food I've had in state. Everything was delicious. I ordered the fried whiting, Mac and cheese, collard greens, candied yams, and sweet potato pie. All for $30. The food did take about 40 minutes so order ahead if you want pickup. I love going to this little dive club! First of all if you go out on Thursday night, they have a five dollar fish and chip platter. It used to be really good but in the past I've found that they've cut back on their fish. But it's still a good buy. Order the drink Ciroc Party and you won't be disappointed. Thursday night they have line dancing, and on Friday night karaoke. But what's really cool is the DJ can sing. The staff is friendly, but order your food early on as the service is a little slow.

Good food not overly seasoned for those of us who want to eat a little healthier. Top shelf drinks a little pricey. Atmosphere fun, music was uplifting. I ate a little late, had to come home and make my Belly Blast drink to burn the calories overnight and flush out toxins, etc by morning. People it works!!! Interested inbox me. ExcelYourselfNow!!

My husband and I both agree that the food was great! The "Lynon's 662" was EVERYTHING! I received excellent service as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer. Fantastic! Yes, fab menu, and you can read all the other comments about the food. But food is only as good as the people around it😍 1. Ms. June, the owner, came out and we had a lovely chat about food, life, and southern lifestyles. ❤️ 2. Comedy show. Great lineup. Keedollar hosting and The headliner AplusHollywood killed. So hilarious. 🤣 3. AAA —Leaving the car battery died. Steve (hope that’s right) in the kitchen brought around his car and jumper cables and saved the day! 🛟🚗 Definitely will be back next time I’m in Connecticut.

Lynon’s is awesome and the food is amazing. Everything from the service to the ambiance is great. Moriah was an excellent server and I’ll definitely be back. Everything is stellar!

I don't go out much in CT but I have been here a few times and I like it! It's a popular spot for birthday celebrations. Good vibes Good DJ and the karaoke is nice. I heard some really awesome singers. Mature crowd. Also the food is really good. So far I enjoyed everything I've tried! I took off one star for personal preference at the bar. It's an around the way selection and my tastes in wine and mixed drinks are off their scale. They do have Titos and some basic wines. Anyway that's my personal preference. I like Lyons! If you're wondering where is a nice place to go and have a drink and maybe a bite to eat in the area GO! 💋

I joined a Birthday Party here over the weekend. The place is small but welcoming. Staff was very attentive and the young man bartending was very polite and made great cocktails. However, drink prices were a little steep. My drink which included a double of patron was $20. I'm unsure if that is comparable in this area. Our party had a buffet style serving of Baked Ziti, Wings and Salad. The plain wings were crispy and flavorful. I enjoyed those the most. The Ziti was just ok. It Was seasoned well but the pasta itself was just slightly overcooked for my taste. The place is set up like a restaurant so there is some seating at the bar with just a couple of pub style table tops along the wall. Majority are longer tables designed for parties. There was a DJ who played alot of older music. This place appears to be for a mature crowd of 40+. If you're looking for a mature place to enjoy a drink while listening to music or you're hosting a small event or party, you may enjoy this place. I would visit again.
