The service was so nice,the staff were professional but still very friendly. Joshua the chef and Happy are very good at what they do.ken the bartender was very engaging and made sure we got our drinks as we requested,Judy,Mary and chai were also so helpful and were always hands on incase we needed any assistance.
The only major problems we had were the lights,kindly work on that and the beach boys who are not respecting people's space!

Don’t you just love it when you book a room with a sea view and end up with a back room with no windows? 🤪
Instead of apologizing for their double booking, the staff were rude about it, and the manager gave us a discount that he said would be taken away from one of the staff’s salary.
We enjoyed our first night in the sadest looking, dirty and runed down room, and the second night in an equally sad and moldy smelling room adjacent to the restaurant (but we could guess the sea in the distance!).
This experience was accompanied with really poor and overpriced food (the lasagna dish would deserve its own book written on), and a general atmosphere of a big hangover looming on the place.
Breakfast? It’s included if you don’t mind waiting for an hour.
Besides, the road to get there is so bad that no uber or tuktuk will want to come pick you up 🙃
And lastly, if you feel brave and you decide to stay there, do take the right amount of shillings with you, because with dollars they will apply their own made up conversion rate and rip you of - making the experience terrible until the last interaction.

We have been to Luwa three times. Once for dinner and other two times for drinks. Atmosphere was very good. Good ambiance. Good service by waiters. Food was okay. Nothing special. We ordered the mixed seafood platter and samosas which was okay. Pet friendly restaurant as our fur babies could also relax with us.
