Was doing great, but had to move so they could cash out the machines. Was doing good again, aaaand they had to cash out those machines next. Didn't stay too long after that, and didn't do great but didn't do bad before leaving.
Not a bad casino. Sometimes we do alright there. Aisles are too narrow, poorly set up. And they really need ticket cash out machines. 20 people in line waiting on one cashier (when there are 5 people in the cage) is ridiculous. I had an employee tell me they had some but the cashiers got mad about it. No one cares when you have almost everyone in the cashier cage doing nothing while you're standing in line for 20 minutes to cash in your ticket. The wait staff in the restaurant is terrible, for the most part. Always sitting at a table, not waiting on the customers, and most just have bad attitudes.
They made my Valentine's day worse than it already was. In short there's nothing but the restaurant- without bison meat in any food and gambling here and they allow tobacco smoke inside plus the restrooms are to the back past the smoke. I asked about buying beadwork and they don't have anything. The Indian Taco is not bison meat anymore it's cattle meat and there is no bison meat at all here plus I saw dry flour on the fry bread after I cut into it enough- yuck. The first waitress we had told my mom she wouldn't put stuff on the side my mom wanted on the side, and I didn't want to "save it for someone else at home" and put it in my car anyway, so my mom started arguing with her about it and when I got involved and tried to get my mom to stop asking about it, another waitress threatened me directly and said she would kick us both out for the day if I didn't stop raising my voice or something like that! I guess she didn't put our order in because a third waitress came and acted like she had to get our order again, but she was nice so I didn't complain about the flour on the fry bread to her. I found out the Cherokee trading post might have bison burgers, but I didn't have time to go there. I'm diabetic now and I couldn't wait to eat and I had eat some Taco Bell on the way, but then my sugar got really high again because of it, and I didn't have my insulin with me because I didn't plan on staying after us eating. I should have gone home, but my mom refused to go home because she wanted to be able to enter contests. I'm highly allergic to tobacco smoke and they had cigarette smoke in the area you have to go through to go to the restroom! Later on I was coughing already and I came back in to find my mom since it was dark and the security wouldn't help me find her except if I wanted her paged. My mom has trouble walking so I had to go down almost every aisle myself to find her. A guy who worked there, had been helping her, to gamble I guess with her free $20 card, so I thanked him and when he helped hold the door open for her to go outside I said "this is the last time I'm taking her to a casino" and "the fun's over,ha"(for my mom). In the beginning at home, before we came, my mom said wanted an Indian Taco, but when we got there, she revealed that she wanted to enter contests, BUT she didn't say anything about THAT before we left. My mom has some dementia + other problems and after she got in she couldn't decide what to do first -enter contests, go to the restroom, or eat an Indian Taco at the restaurant. Then we found out she had to use the machines to enter the contests so they gave her a card and put money on it twice in two different places next to each other. I escaped my abusive ex husband on Valentine's day 30 years ago and this experience didn't help pass the day.
I went, seen and left with two hundred dollars more than I came with but it took a lot of boring work pushing the button and listening to other people's machines hitting the jackpot's sad face. My two dates lost all their money within the first hour then came to me trying to get some of my profits which I gave in but thirty minutes later they came back broke again so this can tell you how fast you can lose your money. But I had fun. Oh they have a lovely bar.
I won a lot here. They are generous. Because you are on a reservation, the food prices are great. $10 for a complete dinner. $15 for a special occasion dinner. All staff were wonderful. The attitude was come as you are jeans and a sweatshirt are fine. Also I noticed some gay couples. Inclusion is getting better.
The staff is super friendly and the casino is kept clean. My wife and I love that it doesn’t have the overpowering smell of tobacco and we had several people sitting beside us smoking and hardly noticed it. My wife and I didn’t hit the jackpot this time but we had a wonderful time and lots of fun and laughs. It was our first time playing there and we will definitely be going back again.

Went to the Sublime with Rome & Dirty Heads concert! Very cool outdoor amphitheater. The sunset views were beautiful! Please fill in the holes so nobody breaks an ankle! Some had cones surrounding them and others did not. Will be back to see more concerts, remember to bring chairs and a blanket** otherwise you'll be sitting on the grass or if you paid extra VIP you have chairs

Here's everything you need to know about outdoor concerts at Lucky Star Concho. Overall the concert experience was great and the music was plenty loud! Would definitely go again. Bring earplugs just in case. Pros - Free golf cart rides to the entry - Free bottles of water at the drink stands (until they run out) - Re-entry was allowed during the concert - The two mobile restrooms near the entry area are nicer ones - The sound was great at the concert - The tribe running the event was very friendly and helpful - Drinks weren't too expensive - Towards the middle to end of the concert, there were almost no lines at the drink stands - You can bring in blankets and camping chairs for the GA lawn area - For the VIP seated area people were able to leave their chairs and group together near the front of the stage for the concert - The land slopes downward towards the stage providing a good view for everyone in the GA lawn area - The GA lawn area was a lot bigger than what they show on the website Cons - There are random foot-size holes in the ground, so watch your step and use your phone's flashlight after dark - Once the free bottles of water are gone, you have to walk over to the casino to get water - Beer selection was limited to domestic beers only - Cocktails were premixed and only 3 to select from - At the beginning of the concert, lines at the drink stand were about 15 minutes long
Amazing staff and phenomenal experience at the event held this night!!! Thank you all who put the hard work and effort in making this happen
I went for an outdoor concert, saw Sublime and The Dirty Heads. I thought it was awesome! It was packed but we had fun sitting on blankets and chairs on the grass. I want to go back for another concert. Next time I might go into the casino, as well.
