I discovered Lucille’s years ago in Denver and now, open for perhaps a year and a half, they are in downtown Erie. Especially considering breakfast spots are not as common as lunch and dinner restaurants, Lucille’s is a fun place to eat. Their signature dishes are creole. We ate outdoors where I was able to bring my dog Lulu. My friend ordered biscuits and gravy, and I ordered a dish that included french fries, sausage, chicken, and cheese. It was pretty delicious. Our waitress was inexperienced and was having a tough time. I had to wait longer for my order because she got it wrong the first time, but the second time it was great. Lucille‘s is one of my staples for breakfast and downtown Erie is cute as a button! Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Been wanting to try this place for awhile now and finally got the chance to visit Saturday morning. They opened at 8am, we showed up about 15 mins early and got our names near the top of the waitlist. More and more people began to show up as 8am rolled around. I would suggest getting there a bit earlier. We were the third group to get called on for a table. We sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful day. There is a big tree right in the middle that gives a significant amount of shade to almost the entire patio area. Noticed they had Mardi Gras beads hanging throughout the tree as well which added to the whole aesthetic. The food was absolutely amazing. Don’t skip on the beignets and the biscuits because they are baked fresh and super fluffy. We all tried different things and all of them were delectable. I got the Eggs New Orleans with poached eggs and hollandaise on fried eggplant slices. The Cajun sauce they put on top is a chunky tomato based with spices. I got the cheesy jalapeño grits on the side with potato hash browns. Honestly some of the best hash browns I’ve ever had. The grits were packed full of flavor I loved the bit of spice kick they had to them. Also tried the Eggs Sardou and the Cream of Spinach was so good. The Eggs Benedict Po Boy was one of the most unique dishes I’ve ever had. The bread is so soft and the ham with the poached eggs just made every bite perfect. I can’t wait to go back again to try more selections. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Beignets

Very cozy creole cafe chain with generous delicious portions. We started with four soft doughy beignets drenched in piles of powered sugar. My spiced sausage were not overwhelming and welcome addition to my shrimp & grits. The biscuits are even tastier with the apple, raspberry, rhubarb strawberry jam or butter smeared on. The freshly squeezed orange juice was not overly sweet and complimented my chicory coffee. The Eggs Sardou is by far one of my personal favorites! Along with the jalapeno grits, you cannot go wrong. Creamy and decadent all around. Not to mention that each person on staff is incredibly accommodating, kind, and goes above and beyond. Thank you so much for the delightful experience, as well as the always delicious eats. By far the best food I've had in Colorado since I've moved here. The food is so fresh and good and homemade. The biscuits and jam are to die for. My eggs were poached to perfection. I had the eggplant with the poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce. The service was excellent. I also had a side of collard greens and they were delicious as well as the grits Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We sat outside and had a nice brunch. The vibe is casual and they have some nice details. Some highlights: - their orange juice is fresh squeezed - the Bloody Mary was delicious - their portions are large - the outdoor patio area is comfy and cute Some drawbacks: - the coffee cup was like 6 oz which is fine if you get it refilled but that didn’t happen - the food was somewhat bland (kind of didn’t expect this!) All in all, it’s a cute spot in Erie. Service Dine in Meal type Brunch Price per person $20–30 Recommended dishes Beignets
Atmosphere is neat and service was good BUT food wasn't anything special. I got 2 scrambled eggs, grits and a biscuit. Added bacon so total was $14.95..or so I thought. Ended up being $16.80. When I questioned the waitress, who gave me an option of cheese or cheese jalapeno grits, said it costed more for cheesy grits. She never once told me it would be more. AND coffee is $4.15. WHAT?? We will never go back. No wonder we were the ONLY ones in there eating. Lesson learned. Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

The best breakfast we had during our week long trip in the Erie/Frederick area. Biscuits are to die for and huge! Home made blueberry preserves...YUMMY 😋 Our eggs and sausage with cheesey grits were sooo good as well. Freshly squeezed OJ. Delish! Wonderful server named Jen. Will definitely be back on our next trip 😄 Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're gluten free, you HAVE to have their gluten free English muffin. Their gumbo is amazing and reminds me of gumbo in New Orleans. Loved the Bloody Mary and I even ate some of the celery. (I really don't like celery.) Always a wonderful meal when eating here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
