Must try their famous Rainbow Bread. If you're flying out today, don't forget to grab a to go box filled with breads, shortbread cookies, and other bake goods. They will happily pack it for you. Nice locally owned business. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
I have been eating there since the early 90s'. Food is ok, great value for the price paid. A bit overrated as a lot of folks mention "must try" place to eat. Gotta hand it to the owners for the great laugh today. Upon arrival, we noticed a lot of "mask required" signs. Consideting mask requirements have been done for nearly a year, we didn't think much about the signs. The man behind the counter stated "you need to wear a mask or pull your shirt over your face" Not wanting to looknlike I was robbing the place, I webt back to my car to retrieve masks frkm my "stash" that I thought I wouldn't be needing. I made my purchase and left. Experience would have been exponentially better if they weren't germophobes. Good place to check out, great selection of plate lunches and baked goods. Definitely not a "must see", more like "check it out if you're on a budget, but want a decent meal or snack." Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Employees coughing in the store while strict masks are preached here. Someone has been watching too much Chinese state television. Banana bread was just wheat bread with 0.000001% banana flavor. Not what i expected..

I can't say too much about the food here, but I hear it's pretty solid! I almost exclusively come here for the rainbow bread. Usually a whole box of it, plus a loaf to eat while I'm in Hilo. This is a must-visit spot for me when I come here. This past visit, I had some of the cookies and they were AMAZING. So now, I guess I'm coming here for bread and cookies! Will definitely try the food next time, too! The menu was a good size and I love a good plate lunch!

Famous for Pickled Mango, Pickled Starfruit, Rainbow Bread (Guava, liliko'i, taro), Ulu bread, etc. A must visit for awesome eats! I swear I gain 5 pounds every time I come home. I took a box to take home full of goodies...I should have mailed it. You can take pickled fruits home if commercially made thru agriculture.

Mango bread I got for the first time was gently sweet and fluffy. I’d definitely try another one!
A smidget of Hae'dja'aku? Their Korean chicken remains moist, evenly fried somewhat crisp yet truly Asian in presentation. A wonderful meal: Korean chicken, macaroni on the side.
