My husband and I ate here again about 10 days ago. The service was excellent and the food was delicious! The owner was there and came by our table to be sure everything was as it should be. They were training some new busboys and wait staff and you can tell that the work ethic will be strong. We've been dining there about once every 6 weeks for a couple of years and I think we'll be going back a little more frequently. During nice weather last year they had live music on the patio. The food was decent. The service was great. Food prices were decent. But man $13 for a strawberry margarita is straight highway robbery. Salsa is decent. Cheese dip was good as well. Bathrooms aren't the cleanest. Overall a solid experience. Parking wasn't the greatest. This restaurant isn't that far from where I live, yet I've never been there... until recently. I was pleasantly surprised. Whenever I go to a new restaurant, I always choose a specific dish, based upon the type of eating place it is. When it comes to a Mexican restaurant, I always get beef enchiladas. I was not disappointed. I enjoyed everything on my plate, and the server was not only good, but she was personable as well. The person that I went with ordered cheese quesadillas. She stated that the food was just ok. She also complained about it being too cold, but she does this often anyway. I enjoyed the experience and plan to go back. Didn’t get the “Speedy’s” A good meal, good service, in a nicely decorated restaurant! This used to be Speedy’s Cocina. I think about 2020 the name changed to Los Vaqueros. I don’t know the details of the deal, but Los Vaqueros appears to be one of those Oklahoma based chain/cartel operated restaurants, with restaurants in OKC and Tahlequah. I can’t remember what Speedy’s was like on the inside. I don’t recall it being this attractively decorated. Los Vaqueros really did a great job remodeling. One of the nicer OkieMex restaurants I have been in, decorated in the traditional Mexican restaurant motif. Clean, comfortable and excellent service. Funny, it reminded me a little of Casa Bonita. The salsas were average (hot and mild) and served with those nice thin crispy chips! They have a great lunch menu. Pick from the list or mix and match your favorite items. My wife went with the beef enchilada w/queso and a tamale with red sauce. Delicious authentic red sauce! I picked the beef /bean burrito with green sauce. The green sauce was good, the red sauce was better. The ground beef is tasty; perfectly seasoned. Excellent beans, subtle smoky flavor and smooth. All served by excellent friendly wait staff. I was very reluctant to try Los Vaqueros because of the bad experience I had at this building a few years ago. Yeah, I got a good case of the speedys after dining at Speedy’s. This is one of the very few Mexican restaurants in Broken Arrow that I really, really like. The nicely decorated restaurant, good friendly attentive service and great food came together for an enjoyable lunch. I was pleasantly surprised. Worth a try! We've been here several times, in parties of 4 or 6. We've been seated in the bar and main dining - both were comfortable with quick and friendly service. I think we can all agree that if a Mexican restaurant doesn't have good salsa, they are doomed. Well, this place has GREAT salsa - and three varieties - Regular, Verde & Roasted! All yummy! We've enjoyed everything we've ordered - fajitas, shrimp quesadilla (which they made to order, as it's off-menu), all the enchiladas, chicken tortilla soup (my fave, as it's brothy, not creamy). They have a pick 2 or pick 3 combo selection. Everything is reasonably priced. And good sweet tea! Always great food here! They always accommodate my requests for “cheddar cheese” enchiladas and I love that they offer a variety of sides, instead of the standard rice and beans. My husband always enjoys the chimichanga. Chips and salsa are great and service is usually very good. Easy place to dine at. Fair prices. We love love this place! The entire team there is awesome and Todd is such a friendly owner that makes you feel like family! Margaritas are always on point which is an absolute plus! We can go as a family or catch a seat at the bar if kidless! ❤️

We ate from the Keto menu and the fajitas were the ABSOLUTE BEST we’ve ever had. The steak is the most tender, flavorful, delicious meat. The homemade pork skins and queso was such a delight for someone who eats low carb, but still wants to enjoy the Mexican food experience. We had the best service from Cindy and the owner Todd was so friendly. We love this place and will definitely be back!!
