My wife and I found this restaurant while traveling the Thruway. We really enjoyed our meal here. I had taco al pastor, which I highly recommend, and my wife had the fajita burrito, which she loved. We finished by splitting a tres leches. When I did work in Mexico, I remember that the best meals that I had in Veracruz were the ones served in places like Los Compadres: nothing fancy for decor, but truly delicious food. We'll come back again. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Al Pastor

The worst of everything. It's self-serve and they can't even bother to wipe down their condiment bar. You pay before you get your food and they ask for a tip then too. After you eat your food off of the cardboard, you clean your own table. 49$ for two people. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

This is one of the finest taquerias in Western New York. The hostess is pleasant, and helpful, she made some wonderful recommendations. Top notch carnitas, barbacoa is excellent. The al pastor is enhanced with grilled onions, something many other versions of the same taco are regretfully missing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Carnitas

I love Mexican food. This restaurant was a disappointment. First the good: The portion size was pretty big. The service was okay. The food had no flavor. I am used to getting 3 tortillas with fajitas, and I got 2. The food tasted like they grilled the peppers and onions but added no seasoning. I know everyone tastes are different. Nice mexican place in town. I like that it is not a chain. Mexican is usually safer for my gluten free diet, so this was a good choice. They have a lot of things on their menu and prices are reasonable. With tax and tip you can eat with drinks about $40 for two people. The food is not the best mexican I have had, but still good. We finished our dishes. I do like that you order before you sit down instead of waiting to order. Price per person $10–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pulled Pork

This little bit of heaven is only a mile off the NY thruway. Quality at every step. Look for the small cardboard open sign and walk in past the chef's clean, tightly run kitchen. Small menu, but perfect execution. Grilled, but crisp veggies. Fluffy, flavorful rice. Soft, corn tortillas. Margaritas made with top shelf tequila. I had veggie fajita and partner had chicken. Definitely authentic Mexican flavors. Generous portions, too. We cant wait to go back to sample the desserts. What a nice surprise to find a terrific spot between Rochester and Buffalo. In and out, with plenty of parking. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’m starting to call Batavia “ little Mexico”! This place makes the best Mexican food in the area! The tacos are amazing and they have so many varieties! El Pastor, Carnitas, Barbacoa, Tripe, and so many more. We all enjoyed it and will be back!

Came in few minutes after they open so the place was empty. I Tried veggie and fish tacos and I have to say is one of the best tacos I tried on my life, full of flavor. If all the food is as good at the tacos then this is an excellent Mexican cuisine. Food it’s cooked pretty fast and is mostly self serve, they have selection of local and Mexican beers, margaritas and other beverages. Good time Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

A delicious treat! So nice to finally find a good Mexican restaurant. Great variety of meats to choose from on the menu, and the pork carnitas were amazing. Tamales are very good, tacos are simple. Cheap to add rice and beans on the side, and can't beat a $1.99 margarita!
