Seems like a family owned restaurant, which I love. My server was very friendly and attentive. The food was so hot, oven hot that is, that I had to wait a bit for it to cool down to eat. Carne asada carbon was what jumped out and said, "Try me!" Great choice. The meat was very good, the beans and rice were as well. The veggies with mushrooms and shrimp was amazing! Can't go wrong eating here! Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Salsa and Chips

We discovered this little treasure in the middle of Wyoming on our way back from Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons. The food is delicious with large portions. Family friendly place. Highly recommend the Carne Asada and Chicken/Beef Fajitas. Staff is very friendly and kept checking up on my family in a loving way. No need to drive to Jackson Hole. Stop by in Pinedale on Route 91 to eat authentic savory Mexican food at this family run business. Loved the food and the decor too. The first time we went to this restaurant I was very disappointed with the plate I ordered. I ordered the taquitos but you can tell they were from a frozen box & just reheated. The staff was very friendly and helpful since we are new to the area. My husband ordered enchiladas and that was a little better and not “boxed” food. We have gone back to this place and certain plate are more authentic and would definitely recommend: the tacos al carbon, the margaritas and for sure the burritos. Food was ok. Middle of nowhere in Wyoming so my expectations were low and it met my expectations. Margarita was entirely sours. Chile rellano breading kept falling off. Rice was very odd and small, not like full grains of rice. Overall it was food. The refried beans were decent. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Not too shabby. It’s your basic, small town Mexican eatery that *probably* heats most things up in a microwave. My date and I shared the Enchiladas los Cabos (three chicken enchiladas smothered in a blend of sour cream, Parmesan cheese and a touch of spices. Topped with green onions, served with rice and beans) and a Strawberry Margarita. The damn marg was only $8.00 and was hella delicious. I’m usually not a huge fan of the food at these restaurants however the enchiladas hit the dang spot! Lots of ooey-gooey cheese and the rice and beans were not overcooked. I left impressed!

Excellent authentic Mexican food. Salsa is amazing and freshly made. Bathroom needs to be improved thou. Highly recommend.
Food was overpriced for what it was. The margarita didn't taste of much and the presentation was poor. On the other hand the service was fine. Would not recommend.
The bald waiter should never be in a customer service position. Put his rear end somewhere in the back where he doesn’t directly deal with customers. A full page of hamburgers on menu and a sign out front about hamburgers but they don’t have pickles and the waiter was rude when we asked for pickles. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

We loved our experience here! We had the carne asada and the fajita burrito (steak). The carne asada was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the burrito was fantastic! The service was quick and friendly.

I am always rooting for family restaurants and enjoy spending my money in small towns, so I get no enjoyment out of leaving a negative review. You can tell some of the food is straight out of a box and heated up, like the Taquitos. The Colorado burrito was bland, the meat had an uncomfortable texture, and they don’t have any variety of sauces or salsa at different heats? My wife’s quesadilla was extremely thin with bland unseasoned beef out of a can. I’m really surprised with the decent reviews about this place, I think that may be a reflection of the kind locals of Pinedale rather than the quality of food, because it blows.
