Used to love going here but now they have gone cashless, which is fine but the only way you can pay is to go and stand in a queue like school children at the desk. I mean if you want to go cashless at least have card machines you can bring to the table instead of me having to wait in a queue for 10 minutes to pay! This is a typical example of someone wanting to become more modern at the cost of destroying the customer experience!
Lovely little cafe. Placed near the cheetah outreach centre

Though it’s very nice to sit outside under the trees the service is terrible and the food is average.
The waiter doesn’t even think to put salt and pepper on the table.
I find it a bit expensive for what they’re serving although the portions are large.
You won’t leave hungry but you won’t be satisfied necessarily.
The first time I came here the lentil wrap was very sloppy and messy to eat. The second time wasn’t much different with the guacamole wrap either.
I think the restaurant has potential if they can look at the service and improve the taste because the food is a bit bland.
The power smoothie wasn’t bad though.

Coffee and food was nice. Just had a bad experience with their scones. The scone was served hot on the outside and frozen solid on the inside. "Fresh" out the freezer . Baked goods should be baked fresh 😌 Will not be visiting Lorenzo Marx again.

I usually love the food and atmosphere here, but had a bad experience today.
I asked if they made an iced coffee with crushed ice for takeaway, which they did. I waited nearly 30 minutes and received an entirely melted "iced coffee" which was still luke warm at the bottom. It had no crushed ice.
I returned the coffee and explained what I wanted: a coffee with crushed ice. I then received a cup filled with crushed ice and milk, with barely any coffee in. It was frustrating enough for me to leave without any coffee or a refund.
Please work on your recipe and method. Blend the ice and coffee together, don't pour the hot coffee over pre-crushed ice. Offer to add sugar to the hot coffee as sugar does not easily dissolve in crushed ice.

Quiet little coffee shop under the trees hidden away in Paardevlei. It's a little bit on the pricey side for a regular coffee date, but once in a while it's a treat. The kids loved it and there's quite a selection of sweet treats which is always a winner in our books😊
Had a light lunch. Food was okay, bit underwhelming. Ordered grilled cheese sandwich but the margarine flavour was very over powering. Mother ordered the croissant and also had the margarine flavour.
Has huge potential

Neatly tucked away in a secure, gated community, this place is a very nice break away for business meetings or remote work sessions. Amazing staff
