The restaurant is clean and service is good. That's it.
The food does not taste good overall.
Do not order Mantis shrimp. It did not taste like one. Too much dressing.
Fish balls are a disappointment.

Food is not bad. But hygiene and service is questionable. Found fly in soup, questioned the owners but they didn't offer apologize at first, until I demanded their apologize multiple times then only they said sorry.

Decent zicar place for dinner. Can get crowded during dinner rush and need to expect some waiting time for the food.
+ Highly recommend the braised pork trotter, it is nicely braised and tender. I enjoyed the fat and lean meat ratio too. It's a I'll come back for second round dish.
+ The curry fish is also decent, but the vegetables added can be more generous.
- You need to order a bigger portion for the vegetables when ordering because the portion is way too small, and price is steep considering it's vegetable and small portion.
- the salted egg squid is not impressive, will give it a miss if I ever visit again.

A restaurant I would drop by when I travel to Penang. If you looking for a place for lunch before entering Island, this is 1 of my favorite Chinese restaurant.
If you love spicy, sambal, nyonya kind of taste, they have variety of choice for you.
I love their sambai prawn with cucumber, a lots of crunchy prawn & cucumber.
1st time try their lime steam siakap. Extremely sour but you will hard to stop drinking the soup.
All the portion is just nice even I order 4 dish for 3 person.
They provide e menu qr on the table & can order directly. They serve the dish in 15 to 20 minutes.
They accept Duit Now QR & Credit Card.

Another good Chinese restaurant which has been around for decades spawning 2 shoplots next to a flyover and roundabout in Bukit Mertajam. Fairly ample parking space dishing out lunches and dinners. All time favorites are Sambal Prawns and Curry Fish. The seafood eggs are a delight for children. All dishes are delicious and tasty. Price is reasonable. Weekends are always crowded. A hidden gem of a restaurant.
Not bad. Dishes are special and reasonable price. The restaurant is known for their fishball tung hoon but I think its quite ordinary. Assam stingray is recommended though. Worth a try if you're nearby.
Love this place. You order now, you get to eat within 15mins regardless of the crowd! Food is clean, tasty and in correct portions. Price is totally reasonable. Friendly staffs. Parking is an issue during peak hours.
Just remember Wednesday is the off day! They open 11am till 11pm.
