This place was great. The server was friendly and attentive but not overbearing. The music was soft but noticeable. The food was excellent. Our waitress was awesome she was always nearby making sure we had everything we needed .. The food not so good. The French onion soup wasn't hot the cheese wasn't even melted fully usually you get that burnt cheese crust at the top to where this the cheese was just melted but solid at the same time.. the bread usually comes out first it didn't come out till the entrees came out and my steak I asked for medium well I got medium rare instead . I enjoyed my visit to Longhorn and the staff was excellent. I was there with a large group for lunch, so my visit was probably not typical. The food was decent, with the seafood bisque being a highlight. I also ordered a steak salad, but the steak was a little undercooked. My significant other and I decided we'd get longhorn for dinner, and also decided to order it online. Though we were close, we knew that we'd have to wait about a 25-minute. As the email said, our food would be ready by 6:50. At 6:40, I received the text to check into the to-go parking spot. A little after that, a young lady came out with several orders. Which belonged to the two other customers. She came to ask us the name on our order. Gave her the name, and she left. 6:55 rolls around and nothing. I figured that it was busy, so I went into the restaurant to use the restroom. Then, I asked the hostess where I should go to check on my to go order. She directed me to the bar area, where a gentleman was inquiring about his order. The young lady who dealt with the gentleman began to walk past me. I had to stop her to figure out what was going on with my to go order. By this time, it is after 7. While I'm waiting at the bar, several servers came and went. Not once did anyone ask if I've been helped. I again I had to stop another server, who had just dropped off an order at the bar. By this time, it is 7:15. The young lady who I spoke to finally came out with my order at 7:20. The lack of customer service and communication was null and void. Food seemed thrown in the bag, even the containers were dented in. Update: Thank you so much, Kelly (one of the managers), for hearing me out, and rectifying the situation!!! I try to stay away from chains, but this is the only steak house in Wilkes-Barre. We got there and the hostess seemed out of it. She said it was going to be an hour wait. No problem. One hour goes by and I go in to check and she said "yeah you may be seated now." As we walked to our table, there were about half a dozen tables open and they weren't filled the rest of the night! Our waitress was great so it evened it out. She was quick and kind. As for the food, the wings were extremely salty, to the point where I had to take a gulp of water after every one. For the entre I got the ribeye, and it made up for any problems in the beginning. It was tender, juicy, cooked as requested and not overly flavored. It was truly an enjoyment to eat. The other entre was the filet, which was undercooked as requested. Maybe because it was so thick? Regardless it was delicious as well. Overall, steaks were 7.9/10, service was 6.8/10. A vegetarian eating at a steakhouse, it went better than expected. It will be hard for vegans though. I ordered the Mushroom appetizer. It was very cheesy and pretty good. I loved the baked potato, yum! Also the stemmed broccoli was delicious. Our servers were great for our party of 14 people. They give you fresh warm bread to start. 35 minutes to get food after ordering. Rib eye steak had flavor but tough. Also raw in middle waitress never asked if we wanted more beverages. Will try again one more time. THE BREAD IS DELICIOUS... Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 5

Fast and friendly service! The steak was absolutely delicious! Update ,20200821 The food is still delicious! Had a slight issue with my steak today because I asked for medium well but it was medium. Matthew is a great waiter and did great but Ian the manager had an attitude... I just asked for my military discount and rolled out. I'll still be returning! Clean bathrooms too!
