We visited Longhorns in Johnson City, Tn. on March 1 for my son's 53rd birthday. Just before being seated, my son said he needed to go to the restroom. Meanwhile we were seated. Quite some time passed and my son was still not out of the restroom. As I approached the men's room, a gentleman came out and asked if I was Mrs. Hawkins. I said yes. He informed me that my son was sick and since there was no one else in there asked if I would like to come in. I took one look at my son and saw that he was about to pass out. This gentleman was David Haller, a manager. We had noticed this man going in and out of the mens room several times thinking he was a customer. David was by my sons side the entire time, with the exception of getting him a towel and drink of water. After my son came out, he needed to return still feeling ill. The manager kept a watch on him the entire time we were there. Thank you, Mr. Haller. Then there was our wonderful waitress. She was very obliging with the constant change of our order while my son was not at our table. We had no idea what was going to happen due to my sons illness. She was very pleasant and helpful. Then packed our food to take with us. She never had a bad attitude. She was outstanding. Thank you Cassandra E. We will definitely return to LongHorn Steakhouse in Johnson City, Tn. and STRONGLY recommend them for wonderful service and delicious food. Excellent Food and Service. Stuffed mushrooms were so yummy we googled the recipe. Only complaint was the bar, we had to Muddle our old fashioned ourselves, but they came quickly. Overall fantastic. Food was great, atmosphere was great, waitress was warm/welcoming/quick. Wait time to be seated was shorter than estimated. Steaks were cooked as requested and everything was seasoned well! For my birthday we decided to try some place new and chose to eat here. I was NOT disappointed. The food was great, our waitress was helpful & nice, and the atmosphere is very chill. We needed recommendations and our waitress was helpful in that way as well. I highly recommended the shrimp appetizer it was amazing. Put our name on the waiting list at 4 PM and had to wait for 2 hours but it was well worth the wait!!! I'm a big Longhorn fan and didn't want to get upset about the wait which I didn't. Took my whole family out and there were 11 of us counting twin grandsons who are just 6 months old but the manager and staff were very accommodating!! The steaks were AWESOME as was the baked sweet potato and salad and of course the cheesecake!! Unfortunately I didn't get the waitresses name 😕 but she was very AWESOME and deserves to be a trainer!! I absolutely love this restaurant no matter how long it takes to be seated!! Hope the entire staff has a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
