*Hidden Gem* I had the sampler and added a side of egg salad so I could get a bit of everything. Quiche 5/5 •• I rarely have quiche but now it’s on ny radar! Chicken Salad 5/5 ••Simple & tasty Beef chili 5/5 ••A ton of flavor in that tiny bowl Fresh Fruit 5/5 ••• Kiwi, melon, raspberries, strawberries, grapes, an orange slice and all so fresh•• Egg Salad 5/5 Everything seasoned well, lovely textures I can’t wait to come back with my wife. I’m looking for something to nitpick, but it’s kind of hard… I will say that the server asked permission before taking trash that I set off to the side which was a bit funny… Just take it lol
One of my favorite places for any meal! The food is always amazing and the staff are some of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Not only is it a unique atmosphere but the live music is beautiful. I know each time will be just as good, if not better, than the last. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20

I have not had the pleasure yet but I am on my way this week. I just wanted to offset your rating from the "unfortunate unbalanced" lovely individual Victor below. Having been a waitress and LOVED IT, in school I can tell you that your server is paid by waiting on an establishments customers. If you can't afford to pay for the food and THE SERVICE or your hard working waitstaff, go through a drive through or TAKE OUT. (Maybe even consult with the server before you take up space that they rely on for revenue) and tell them. They might be OK. But to force it and make it an issue with this WONDERFULLY ACCLAIMED ESTABLISHMENT, is simply something a con artist would do and the criminal minded. So I'd suggest doing your dirty deeds else where VICTOR and guest who was OK with it. It's simply not acceptable to behave this way and then throw stones on this review at these Ladies who obviously do what they do because they are giving of thier gifts to the Texas Market. Go big or go HOME and make your own coffee tea and pies and serve yourself in your own paid for space. Hello! . This is not CALIFORNIA, OZ or Kansas. Red shoes that sparkle or complain about something they will not pay for after you enjoy it, will get you the BIG BOOT of Texas just because YOU need it.

Used to go here with my brother sometimes when we wanted great food and a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the last time we went here, which was today. The manager decided to extort me and my brother out of tipping $10 by saying if we don't tip we were not welcomed back. We occasionally tip when we can afford and when we are strapped for cash we do not tip. But this establishment sat here and forced a tip by threatening we could not come eat here again, which is against the law. That is extortion. So I went back to ask that if it's expected to tip 100% of the time why do they not have a sign up stating so as that is part of consumer full disclosure law to which they decided the appropriate action was the defamate my character and state I tried to walk out on my bill last time. I did not try to walk out at all. I didn't even move from the cash register. I called my brother, because I forgot my wallet, and asked if he could bring me my wallet so I could pay. I then waited while he came to the restaurant and then I paid. When the floor manager asked if I wanted to talk to her manager, I said sure, to which the actual "manager/owner" comes out and says "I remember you, I served you last time and you stiffed me by not tipping." I responded with "are you the manager or a waiter? You can't be both, and if you are the manager then first of all why would I tip you and not a server? You make a salary they dont." This establishment also told me that their servers only make a few dollars per hour, and so I said "Yes but servers are bumped to minimum wage when they don't make enough per hour in tips" to which they answered "No we don't do that." Which is another federal law violation. Me and my brother have been here multiple times and we have also tipped on several occasions when we can afford it. Tips are optional they are not mandatory. If the expectation is that ALL customers tip 100% of the time. Then you should have a sign up just like you do with party gratuity. But you do not have a sign up. You instead attempted to assassinate my character by saying I've been nothing but disrespectful each time I've come here, told me I am a "needy" customer for asking for a little extra mayo on my wrap and a little extra poppy sauce for my fruit when I'm a paying customer, extort me out of money by threatening I cannot come back I don't start tipping, and then have the audacity to ask me if I'm 5 years old for asking why you don't have a sign up that said tips are required or that gratuity is mandatory. Absolutely horrible service. You're quite lucky if I decide not to sue your establishment for defamation and extortion of a consume. The fact you tried to call the cops on me for having a calm tone and simply asking why there isn't a sign saying tip is mandatory or why you extorted .e is ridiculous and unethical. This place is a hidden gem, my son took me for mother's day, and we both had the sampler and the tea of the day was peach.it was so yummy. They had a lady playing the piano and she was awesome. For dessert we had the bread pudding which was to dye for.And we walked through the antiques so much to see Can't wait to come back.
Perfect Tea Room fair. Fresh fruit and greens, flavorful soups and quiche, and a great atmosphere. There are no doubt many more fancy settings, but if you are just looking for a classy fresh lunch with little fanfare, this will hit the spot.
I took 10 of my family to a girls day lunch and tea. Made reservations weeks in advance. The he food was great. However after eating lunch several wanted dessert we waited over 30 minutes for our server to come by finally went and ask for him as we were in a private area. He did finally come and take our order but we were told by the cashier you have to leave by 3:15 we explained we are waiting on our desserts we ordered and will leave as soon as we finish. We explained that we waited over 30 minutes on our server to come back to our private area only after we ask. Again we were told you have to be out by 3:15. Maybe just a bad day but found it unprofessional and a little rude considering we were waiting on our server. The team room was not full. Food great service not so great.

This place is very nice and gives a great atmosphere. The food is good I do wish there was more for the price. The fruit they serve for the kids is amazing and I often order me a side of it too! Their peach tea is great and not too sweet at all. Their jalapeno potato was lukewarm and not spicy to my taste. But the service is very personable. When they are busy expect to wait a bit to be seated and checked out. Will return again!
