So incredibly disappointing. Loved this place when it was Texas Grill years ago and for some stupid reason thought it would be good food. The bacon cheese burger was awful, cold burger and nothing but fat that you couldn't even chew for bacon. Asked for crispy tator tots and was served a pile of greasy much. My husband's burger was also cold and his fries were soaked with grease. Please either turn up your heat on the oil or change it out. Those are the only reasons your food will soak up the oil and not be crispy. I left my entire plate, husband ate his burger only because he had too but left all of the fries and we walked out. No point in saying anything to the very unfriendly girl at the register. She brought us our food and never came back to even ask how it was. I have a feeling she already knew. This place is awful. Great music and could have been a great lunch. FYI, They also charge you 3.99% to use a card which is fine and I understand if you actually can eat the food. Great home style comfort food. CFS is great and their fried catfish and shrimp matches any local seafood. Very good burgers including outstanding specialty burgers. Something for everyone. This family owned business provides a true friendly atmosphere. The open kitchen lets you see how the food is made! Overall, a great value and a great meal!! Dine in or take out. This place is a strip mall center and you would not guess that the food is quite tasty if you based it on the appearance. I had a tuna sandwich and french fries for lunch. NOT the same Lone Star Grill as years back. I don't know what was worse, the food or the staff. Lady at counter told my two toddlers to be quiet and made the hand gesture to be quiet while I was ordering, they were talking to me about what they wanted. Then, when she was delivering the food she told my 12 year old to scoot over (thinking i was going to sit). Next, she told my young toddler to stop getting so many napkins while we were eating. This place is great for good home cooking. Like fried okra, chicken fried steak.. I get the cowboy style chicken fried steak here. It comes with chili, onions and cheese on top. I didn't know what to think when I first saw it on the menu, but I ordered it w mashed potatoes, fried okra.. comes with toast. Definitely a unique meal you will be excited you ordered.
