We had planned on finding somewhere nice to eat this evening but found ourselves stuck in this area when we had to meet someone at Walmart right at rush hour. We found this place browsing Google maps and decided to go ahead and eat while traffic died down. That was a great decision. This place is situated in a strip shopping center behind QT and looks plain on the outside but is very nice inside. The lady at the counter switched the menu from Spanish to English for us. I almost ordered the Birria Tacos but switched to the Queso Birria when she said that shell was homemade. My wife went for the taco plate. The food was absolutely delicious. Much better than the mediocre Mexican joints that litter Louisiana where we live. The experience was enhanced by the numerous salsas we got to try. The jalapeño was my favorite. This place is more traditional Mexican food than Tex Mex specializing in tortas & tacos. Would I go back? I certainly would. We loved this place and it should be on any Mexican food lovers list. Firstly, Raul the owner is the sweetest! I only know survival Spanish growing up in DFW too long & he kindly changed menu to English for me to understand it better. I don’t regret my usual order from other places but enjoyed every bite of my flour tortilla taco plate 🤤. Can’t wait to come back when I’m in the area. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Was in Dallas for work and found this gem of a place. Tacos were amazing and the limeade was terrific. 10/10 recommend, perfect for a good lunch. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Update: 2nd review!!! 2nd time here with the family and again they did not disappoint!!! This is my new favorite spot ❤️ Everything was sooo good. Even my picky 8 year old loved the nuggets lol. If it’s not McDonald’s she usually won’t eat them. Also, I’m guessing the owner…he’s taken my order both times and seems so nice and sweet. He explained the menu to us and I appreciated his kindness. Cute little place. Dang I wish I had a picture but my food looked too good to wait another second! I had the 3 taco plate pastor (trompo) with rice and beans. Everything on the plate was good! I'll definitely be back with the whole family. I also received my food pretty quick, it was hot and fresh. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

Their churros are very good! Their tortas are good and their bread is what really ties it in since it’s made fresh there. Their pricing and menu can be confusing though— the prices don’t reflect what the reviews have posted and I was charged more for a torta. The lady explained that pricing had changed and i took my torta to go. On a different visit I was given fries with my torta and on my third visit I had to pay extra for the fries. So I’m not sure…I do like that the employees give you a run down of their entrees if it’s your first time there. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10

Visited for our first time today and will definitely be back! The owner helped us and explained the menu. Recommended a few favorites and we were very pleased with what we got! My husband got a sandwich with ham and pineapple, I can't remember the name of it. I got a taco plate with chicken tacos, rice and beans. Everything was fantastic! Food was great, the place was very clean, owner was very helpful and friendly. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The food is amazing!!! I love how it's real authentic Mexican food! Tortillas are handmade and the bread is homemade. This is now my go to place. The owner is very nice and gave us the back story of the restaurant. 💯 percent recommend!! The quesa-Birria is a MUST, it's delicious! Overall satisfied. The best Torta/Lonche I ever had, totally legit place with all menu being true authentic Northern Mexico. Super polite and friendly owner behind the counter, and it is awesome when you can meet, and talk to the owner of a business who can explain the menu and answer questions showing pride in their recipes and ingredients . Cant wait to be back and continue to explore the entire menu. The desserts look amazing.

Food was good. Place was clean. Service was awesome! Our first time there so the gentleman at the register explained the menu for us which was really nice. They bake their own bread👍 Hubby had the barbacoa torta and it was delicious! Will go back again.
