About
After enjoying Campbell Historical Museum, it may be a nice idea to visit this bar. Italian cuisine under the direction of the popular chef is wonderful at this place. You can have nicely cooked pizza, gnocchi and meatballs at Locanda Sorrento. Trying good tiramisu, cheesecakes and panna cotta is a pleasant experience here. Delicious wine, coffee martini or limoncello will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back. After a long working week, you can taste great espresso. The cozy atmosphere of this place allows visitors to relax after a hard working day. As a number of guests notice, the decor is terrific. Google users awarded this spot 4.4.

Oh what great food! We came to Locanda for a date night and so glad we picked this place. The place had authentic Italian vibes and was truly brought about by the staff and their chef. On a Friday evening, this place was packed. We had a reservation and glad we made that. We got seated right away. After sometime our server (very nicely dressed btw) stopped by to give us the menus and tell us little bit more about it. We loved a lot of things on the menu but had to select a few specialities. The salad was delicious and the salmon appetizer was amazing too. We ordered one pasta and one fish as our primi and secondi and all that were very fulfilling and sufficient for both of us! I am so thrilled I found this place, it's going to be one of our favorites that we visit from time to time. I can't wait to try the pasta in the cheese wheel next time :) Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish Special

The best lasagne. Mama Carmela's lasagne is one of the best in the country (identical to the lasagne I had in the old country). With a little addition of Olio Piccante it creates a masterpiece, celebration of tastes complimented by a good glass of red. Keep up the good work! P.S. - the ambiance and the music were perfect too 👍 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Delicious food + good service My husband ordered a veggie pesto sauce based pasta (I forget what it's called in the menu) and I ordered the Gnocchi Sorrentina. The Gnocchi was perfectly cooked, not chewy at all and melted in my mouth. The sauce complemented it perfectly. The pesto tasted very fresh and flavorful. I would say the portions are big especially because the sauces are very rich and heavy. We struggled to finish it all. They do take reservations, but we had to wait 20 minutes even though we made one. Very limited parking, including the street parking. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Gnocchi

Good service and atmosphere. We are vegetarians and the server was kind to guide and customize dishes for us. Also got us a mocktail since drinks menu is all alcoholic. Hope they have more vegetarian and vegan options on menu - esp. an eggless oltion for housemade pasta! It's really good and authentic! Drinks were good but not that strong, but I guess that's preference. Nice, attentive waiters as well. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Decent Italian eatery with a lively host/chef who is always singing. We had the Brussels sprouts, table side Cacio e pepe and the pesto pizza. Ordered two glasses of different red wines and when they arrived they didn’t tell us which was which. Both tasted the same even though one glass was supposed to be a Sonoma Pinot noir (pricier) and the other an Italian wine. Not sure which one we got but tasted good. Food was alright, nothing special. Limencello cake for dessert was the best thing we tasted. If you live in Campbell it’s a nice spot but not worth the drive from other parts of the south bay. Cute atmosphere though. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Limoncello Cake

ℂ𝕒𝕝𝕒𝕞𝕒𝕣𝕚 𝔾𝕒𝕞𝕓𝕖𝕣𝕚 ℤ𝕦𝕔𝕔𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕚 𝔽𝕣𝕚𝕥𝕥𝕚 is less floury taste but more crunchy. . Pastas are made in house with simple ingredients. . The service is the best. Very caring, patient and sweet! Not shocked this restaurant has 4.5 stars. Tried this place at the suggestion of a colleague and I’m sure glad I did. Originally when I had looked at the Yelp review photos, I was scared the pastas would be too rich for my taste, but boy was I wrong. Upon arrival on a Saturday night, the restaurant was packed and BUSY, but this didn’t compromise service at all. We arrived and the hostess who may also be the manager and/or owner, greeted us and took us to our table immediately. Carlo was our server, and he was great from the beginning. Despite how busy it was, he was very attentive. We even asked him how to pronounce a few Italian words and he properly educated us on how certain words are said a dif way pending the region you’re from. The food and drinks were both excellent. The hubby and I had two cocktails each, all of which are under the CLASSIC COCKTAILS menu. The Morgan was my fav and the chocolate old fashion was also delish. We shared the tuna carpaccio as they ran out of the veal carpaccio. The hubby had the gnocchi and I had the paccheri Genovese (fresh made pasta). Portions are generous so come hungry or share. For dessert the hubby opted for a simple vanilla gelato served in a martini glass and I had a hazelnut dessert. I have to say EVERYTHING was delicious and we had spectacular service. This place is great for families, date night, girls night….all of the above. The overall ambiance is very cheerful, but if you want a little less noise, I suggest the back room where we sat. Parking can be tight. They do have a dedicated parking lot but there are only a few spaces. We were lucky and found space at a side street. Overall, I’d say this is a great Italian restaurant and will definitely be adding to my go-to list. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100
