Little Tokyo is our favorite place for sushi in Bellingham. The food is always fresh and very tasty. Also, I love that the Miso soup is always nice and hot. Our waitress was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. If you have not tried this place, you should definitely try it out. Avoid the conveyer belt sushi and get the good stuff. Excellent service and delicious food! They were able to accommodate my dietary restrictions by providing gluten-free options and double-checking ingredients. It is a small space that feels intimate without feeling cramped. And the patio seating is well-kept and inviting on a nice day. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
We ordered the Chicken Bento Deluxe Box, Stone Pot Bibimbap and 1 Spicy Tuna Roll. That the chicken was marinated made all the difference for the overly sweet teriyaki. The Tempura batter was heavy and there were giant slabs of potato, sweet potato, starchy squash and shrimp. Unfortunately this was the most flavorless Bibimbap I have tasted, all the veggies were steamed, not enough caramelization on the rice and the gojuchang chili ketchup sauce didn't help. We enjoyed the spicy tuna roll. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Pictured with my review was a 16 dollar order of chicken teriyaki. The spice sauce was an extra buck. It was a single layer of protein over rice. It was good, but it was maybe a third of the portion of chicken teriyaki compared to other places, and more expensive too. Anyway, you don't get chicken teriyaki for a life-changing culinary experience. I didn't like it because it is overpriced. The rest of the food at the restaurant is good, even great. They should just drop the teriyaki from the menu if it's going to be (rounding up) twenty bucks for basically a lunch portion. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

The Philly special was soggy. The 4 piece egg roll was 2 small egg rolls cut in half. When we called to question this, the response was, "Ya, um totally, ok. It's 4 pieces, not 4 egg rolls." 😳 The Korean spicy tasted strange, and the noodles were swollen and soggy as if it had been sitting for a while. The yakisoba was OK. The rainbow roll was small. It was 8 pieces at $15.99, that's $2 per bite. Tasted good, though. The small miso had one tiny piece of tofu. The light up lightsaber chopsticks were pretty dope. Can't say anything bad about those.

Attentive waitress with good service but their Gyozo arrived like hard rocks (fried to long), the Tempura was horrid, as was their Chicken Yakisoba. Have never had "thick potato slice" Tempura before; nothing light about it. No light, fresh or tasty vegetables or shrimp with Tempura. Chicken Yakisobo had a terrible taste, along with dried chicken and the salad provided contained wilted lettuce with tasteless dressing. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
We paid $15.99 for a combo sashimi to go and there was 3 little slivers of each fish. Other than that the food was good but overpriced Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The restaurant appears to be short staffed. The wait to get a table wasn't long, but the wait for the food was. Atmosphere is quite plain, food was average. Ordered Sushi Rolls and Chicken Teriyaki. The waiter was very friendly and polite. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes Chicken Teriyaki

Eating here was spectacular; their Chicken and Sushi dishes were really tasty. Plus the presentation of the dish were so eye-catching that it would make anyone salivate on sight. I would also like to mention that the prices for each dish here were reasonable for the size. Lastly I would like to highly recommend the Katsudon, Chicken Teriyaki and Salmon Maki.
The best teriyaki chicken I have ever had. The tempura shrimp was equally delicious. Excellent service. Reasonable prices. I recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
