The food here is unique. I personally didn’t find the flavors that amazing so I’m giving it 3 stars - good. The service is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean inside and does offer outdoor seating too. There is also a street fighter video game inside that is free play. Make sure to save time to play before leaving. I’d recommend. As for going back it’s up to you. For me it didn’t get me that excited. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Despite being a little isolated, it's a great spot for brunch. It wasn't crowded at all when i went but also there's tons of space both inside and on the patio. It's a place to hang out and chat. There's not a lot of noise from the freeway even though you can see it. The portions and prices are more than reasonable, with lots of options to mix and match. The flavors are unique but not completely alien. The drinks are good, the espresso was brewed well and the carafes are definitely worth the cost. We went to this place on a Sunday. Traffic was steady but it was not too packed. You stand in line to get food but thats fine. We ordered and the food took a little while. I got the hash which was diced potatoes and Turkey sausage with two over easy eggs. It looked really good and the potatoes were very good... but egg was not over medium but over hard. I ate half. Hubby got chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes with green beans. Also got a croissant strawberry french toast. The dishes looked really good but flavor was slightly slacking not entirely, just needs a few tweaks. The gravy had too much baking power it was just a bit tangy and the batter did not stick on the chicken fried steak. This is usually because the meat is either frozen or wet when its battered. Potatoes were a perfect consistency, and green beans looked food although i didn't taste them hubby seemed to like it all. The strawberry French toast was good per David my spouse. It was soaked in a sauce then topped with whip and strawberries. Main issue was we never got the drip coffee then asked a few times of which the rude bus lady was like its brewing, what for 30 min... Bizzare! The sweet tea was soooo sweet we had to cut it 1/4 to 3/4 unsweet and it was still sweet and I love sweet tea but this needs tweaking. We played chess I kicked his butt :))) and the atmosphere and music was nice. We ultimately will prob try it again. Gina and her team are wonderful! The place is clean, cute, and their customer service is great. This is great little gem on Rice’s campus! Their staff is friendly, attentive, personable, and their food and drinks are so good! Gina leads a great team here. Nice brunch alternative in the Jersey Village area. Came at 1030AM on Sat and was not busy (it quickly filled up however). Ordered food and coffee from counter, got number, and grabbed a nice spot outside under one of the umbrella covered tables. Waited a very short period of time and out came the coffee. Not great coffee, but a caffeine boost nonetheless at the right time. Shortly came the food. Eggs and waffle were ok, but the chicken biscuit was better. Lots of butter throughout. I ordered the mushroom pad Thai, and I'm leaving satisfied. :) It was too sweet, spicy and saucy for my taste, but I loved the mushrooms and bell peppers and really appreciated the generous portion! I ordered steamed tofu on the side because one of the employees said there wasn't much tofu in the dish. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of tofu in the pad Thai. I'm still glad I ordered the side of tofu, though, because it was delicious! I appreciate that steamed tofu is an option because it is not at most restaurants. The employees were friendly, and one even scrounged up chopsticks for me per my inquiry if they had any. I think a couple slices of lime and more cilantro would make this dish fantastic! Found this gem, never would I have known this location. Very clean restaurant, friendliness of the staff was perfect too. Food was delicious, I had a burger and my friend had the mango habanero ribs. Sorry I didn't get to take the pix since he jumped right in. Definitely recommend people to stop by, the ribs were delicious. Edit 6/2/2023: Nut allergy friendly if you inform the desk. I've never had a problem here over 5+ visits. One of the last great reasonably priced American restaurants, I highly recommend stopping by Little Kitchen HTX before grabbing a drink next door at Senate. The food here is homemade with locally sourced ingredients and yet manages to offer incredible prices. It gets busy during lunch - I've had to wait 30-45 minutes before, but some days there isn't much of a wait. I've taken coworkers, friends, and Houston visitors here and everyone has always loved what they've ordered. The portions are incredibly generous and the flavors are on point. I could see the fresh crab in each bite of my partner's huge crab cakes. Even sides like brussel sprouts can feed two or three people. Their unsweet tea is also delicious and makes a fantastic Arnold Palmer. Nut allergy friendly. One of the only truly value American restaurants left. Great portions, rich food, reasonable price.
