We had a fabulous time! The Caesar salad was fantastic. My ribeye was perfect, my Dad's lasagna was delicious, the Carbonara was great too! The creme brouillet had amazing flavor! Thank you for a great experience. Highly recommend 👌 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Creme Brulee

Recently, we decided to check out the new Italian restaurant in town. Initially, I wasn't overly excited after browsing the menu online, as it seemed quite standard, but I was a little intrigued by the fish offerings. However, upon visiting, I realized that the menu on Google Maps was outdated, and the current one was somewhat limited. The restaurant's decor left much to be desired. It felt dated, with peeling stained-glass window films and dim lighting, creating a somewhat kitschy and neglected ambiance. The men's bathroom, in particular, was disappointingly basic and unclean, akin to what you might find at a gas station. For my meal, I ordered salmon with pasta, with an included salad, along with bruschetta to share. The salad and bruschetta were tasty, though the bruschetta serving was surprisingly small for its price – just three slices of bread, effectively giving my wife and I only a piece and a half each. While the fish and pasta were also enjoyable, the presentation was lackluster, with too much empty space on the plate and only one side dish. In all honesty, the food wasn't bad. However, the total cost of over $70 for three people, including two Italian sodas, my wife's ravioli, and a simple pasta dish for my toddler, felt steep. We could have prepared a similar meal at home for a fraction of the cost. For such a price, I would have preferred dining at Seven Devils Waterfront Alehouse or Wildflour, where we'd enjoy great food, a charming and bright atmosphere, and some excellent beer. I'm always happy to see new restaurants opening up, but Little Italy will need to rethink its pricing and really invest in updating its decor if it hopes to compete effectively. Unfortunately, I don't see much value in this restaurant, at least not at this moment. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

We decided to give this place a try for dinner. It was our son's 10th birthday, and I informed Dana, whom I spoke with on the phone. Unfortunately, they don't sing Happy Birthday, but they could give my son a free dessert. The restaurant has only been open for a week, so they are still working out kinks; plus, it seemed understaffed. When we went, they couldn't serve alcohol as they were still waiting on their liquor license. It's a quaint place and can get very loud. Our server didn't wait for everyone at our table to order their drinks before walking off. And after placing the food order, it took a relatively long time for our salads to arrive. I had the Greek salad and was disappointed it didn't have sliced red onions or kalamata olives. Instead, they used black olives. The dressing also didn't remind me of a Greek salad. My son's food was the last to arrive, and I've always found it customary for the kid's food to come before the adults at restaurants. I ordered the chicken piccata, and not only was it dry and looked like it was sitting for a while due to the sauce looking like it was congealing, but it was smothered in capers and had too much lemon juice in it. The marinara was flavourless. The pasta had a weird texture, and I couldn't eat it. I make homemade pasta, and I've never tasted pasta like that. My husband had the lasagna bolognese, and it was an incredibly huge portion. My husband agreed the marinara was flavourless but said the lasagna was good. My son had the kids spaghetti, and it was a good size for a kid. I wish they offered garlic bread with it or a side salad. I ended up giving my salad to my son. The owner did come to our table to see how our food was and to get feedback. They took the constructive criticism well and even pointed out the excessive capers on my entree before I did. The owner also engaged with my son and ensured his dessert was okay. He even went to find out what flavours the Spumoni was. Overall, I'm glad the owner is listening to the feedback and correcting mistakes. Once they are fully set up and have been open for a while, we may revisit them. My only hope is that they change their menu occasionally and offer decent specials. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
This is a cute place and the service was great. However the gnocchi was pretty chewy and clumpy, not my favorite. Also I don't reccomend this place for lunch, definitely more of a dinner scene. Kind of a small menu as well. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $30–50 Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great food. The pasta was cooked perfectly, which I really appreciate. It seems like many of the food items are made in-house (fresh/ from scratch), which I love. The use of quality ingredients also makes a big difference. We had really great service and it's a pleasant atmosphere. We were not able to order wine, though. They are waiting for their alcohol/liquor license to be worked out, which should be in the near future according to what we were told. That would've made it a better experience since my husband and I were there celebrating my birthday, but we loved this restaurant and plan on becoming regulars. Great little place in the middle of downtown. First time ever going and heavily considering making it a permanent place to visit. Such great food. The drinks are wonderful as well. Quick and friendly service. 10/10 Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Tiramisu
The food was bad. It was dried pasta and jarred sauce. Not only was the pasta bland and generic but it had obviously set in the refrigerator overnight. It didn't even look like the meatballs or house made. Lasagna was burnt and dried out and didn't come with any sides. The salmon was old what they were calling sauce was literally just white wine and capers. The risotto was good. And then there was the staff. Our waitress was being trained and was doing the best she could with it being her first shift the waitress training her decided she was done and left and went home about an hour after they opened. The other male Wait staff was obviously on meth. There are so much rooms growing out of the walls. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $30–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Walked in looking for dinner. Was asked if we had a reservation, which we didn’t. Being a town that caters to out of town visitors frequently, I’d think they would be more accepting of walk in customers. There were at least a couple tables available at that time, but we were told it wouldn’t be a problem, it would just be a few minutes. After waiting for a little more than 30 minutes, we decided enough was enough. We had already watched another couple walk out after receiving zero attention at the front counter. As I got up to leave, I could see multiple people waiting at the front counter for what I could only assume to check out. Something of note: when we walked in, the atmosphere was off. Everyone seemed to be waiting. They were not eating, conversation was sparse, and I could not see any wait staff in the dining area. Perhaps it was an “off day”, but I’m doubtful I’ll try again. The people were great, but the food left a lot to be desired. Probably about a 45 minute wait from order to table. Breadsticks were slightly hard, but the dipping sauce was excellent. Ordered steak medium rare and got a very well done steak. My dish was lukewarm at best. Gnocchi was also a weird texture. Not my favorite.
