Little hidden gem! All the reviews talk about the great service, and they're right! Everybody was so nice. Steady steam of customers, many seem to be regulars, and a table full of take out orders, but lots of open tables. We're used to paying through the nose at fancy Indian restaurants, so this cozy, unassuming little restaurant was a revelation. Full bar (generous pour on the wine) and great food. LITTLE INDIA CAFE Good: Service, food and good value Bad: For dining in, decor is drab, with down beat elevator music - this did not spoil my experience Naan bread - extra The Little India Cafe (located in the Expressway Shopping Center behind ALDIs [Glen Burnie] was a very present surprise. The food was delicious - flavorful with spice, and very fresh, fluffy rice. My mango lassie (yogurt smoothie) was colorful and not too sweet. My appetizer of fried mash potatoes was excellent - pairing the sauces is a must. Finally the chicken korma entree was savory and satisfying - big chunks of chicken in coconut, savory sauce. For you drinkers out there, they have a small but well stocked bar and reasonable cocktail prices. Had I not gotten the smoothie to try, my food would have been just over 20$ without tip and I have plenty for lunch tommorrow. They need to spruce up the place - upbeat energy, and more bright colors. This should tempt more people away from take out. Most certainly try this place - excellent meal. Greatly disappointed in this dish Clearly not cooked right look a the color/ texture and taste is nothing like Chicken Tikka Masala whats so ever. Tasted very tomatos like sauce with cayenne pepper in it. Where is the yogurt ? No sign of turmeric and barely taste any cumins in it at all. Nann bread was at least made well and tasted good to. Amazing flavors and a nice atmosphere. I got the combo tandoori platter with Palok paneer as my veggie. Flavors were amazing. The waiter was a bit gruff but polite. He brought an entire pitcher of ice water to my table, which I appreciated in the sweltering heat. The flavors were amazing but the meats were overcooked and a bit dry. The shrimp was tough and the minced lamb sausage was dry but the flavors were amazing. The spinach paneer was delicious and the Nan was good.

Phenomenal, authentic Indian cuisine! Delicious meals available for any palate, with options for mild, medium, or hot. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere! We have dined in as a family, enjoyed date night and amazing drinks from the bar, and frequently order take out; each and every meal is fresh and made to order. This was a great place to grab a filling, warm meal! We got lots of great food and enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere. I loved my masala chai tea, and my husband loved his strawberry lassi. The chicken korma was fabulous and the bread basket is a perfect accompaniment! Definitely give this place a try for some great Indian cuisine! Oh, this is such a pleasant place I have been to! This is my second time actually going there in person and I have ordered from this place many times over the phone but from seeing it, the restaurants are very clean and the owners are I think Punjabi, and very friendly and very warm and welcoming. I wish their business lot success. I have ordered butter chicken from them and you can tell them the type of flavor you want, which is Simple, mild, or spicy, and they make the perfect amount. And the price is right and I’m just very happy with their service, May God bless Your business. Such a great restaurant. My husband and I order from here all the time. They’re getting more busy and while it makes wait times a little longer, I’m really glad to see they’re doing well and other people are enjoying them too! Highly recommend, and as always with small businesses and independent restaurants, be patient and kind with the staff (or always be patient and kind with staff- but you know what I mean).
