Very insightful tour of the caves. Very beautiful scenery. Definitely a must for people in the area
Liphofung cave is a beautiful historic destination hidden in the mountains of Butha Buthe.
Would not sleep here ever again, would not recommend it to anyone not in a million years, no sheets, no fitted sheets (matrass cover only) , 1 small pillow, asked for double or queen bed, only find two twin beds and joined upon our arrival, dirty carpets, dirty slippery shower, its a lot, paid R1750 for 1 night, still regret booking here.. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE TO SLEEP OVER...
Amazing history and heritage site. The tour guide is knowledgeable and very friendly. R50 entry and R50 for the tour
Very interesting if you know nothing about lesotho and can understand the guides accent.
We had a friendly guide and he spent his time explaining. It is a good 30min to an hour spent if you are in Lesotho.
Very historical and amazing place. I've been here with family and friends several times. It's interesting to see school history books coming alive in this place. Views are breathtaking and splendid snapping sites. Water is clean cold and never dries out. The best time to visit is November -December. Roads can be dangerous if driver is new because of sharp turns and heights, winter (May-August) roads are slippery due to frozen water that comes from melted snow. In a nutshell it's heaven for nature lovers.
Beautiful caves, excellent guide took us to the caves and told us the history of the caves. A must visit in Lesotho.
Peacefull place, not really crowded
