Lindies fish and chips was probably one of the greasiest and underwhelming experiences ever
1. Fish was deep fried, seemed boiled and tasted processed
2. Fish skin was stuck to the paper wrapping
3. The chips were oily , soggy and dripped oil
4. For the quality of the food it didn't add up to the price
5. The atmosphere was dead
6. The placed smelled greasy
Past reviews of this place don't reflect the current state of this establishment, it 2 stars at absolute most.
Would not recommend and you could probably get better food for a lower price.

A lovely family run take-away shop that serves amazing food. The large fish and chips is not only delicious but also served in a generous portion. The calamari is amazing and fresh and the service was friendly and quick. Will highly recommend visiting.
fish is good but do not be deceived by prices on the menu. Ordered a take away, quoted price on menu (R110) but.... paid (R162) approx 48% more. Price increase as per owner
Great fish, great chips and fantastic service worlds apart from the terrible experience we received at other places around the same area would reccomend going to Lindie's to anyone looking for good food.
Small little take away in Port Edward,With generous tasty portions.We have only tried the fish cakes & Slap chips which was delicious.Will definitely be going back to taste there other fish produce.Recommended.

The calamari was not tasteful at all. More crumbs the calamari. We only recieved like 7 small pieces. Went to another place got much tastier better and bigger calamari pieces for the same Amount of money.
