Great Beef Noodles shop with great service from the Owner & staff teams. All dishes were so much better than expected as it was our 1st Beef noodles this trip. There are 2 noodle options (thin or thick) and we thought the regular noodles were thin so ordered thick but it is extra thick noodles. Would recommend to order the 'thin / normal' noodles. It was raining when we arrived and we had our first meal in Taipei here. The beef noodle soup was perfect for the cold weather. The braised beef is better than the pure beef noodle soup. Dumplings were also good. We had one small bowl each and I only finished half of it, servings are big. I'll be honest and say that we originally wanted another beef noodle store, but the queue was ridiculous and so we decided to give this place a try. This place did not disappoint! The noodle broth was a bit lighter than we expected but still delicious. My wife had the braised beef noodles and the beef was very tender. I had fried pork cutlet noodles and it was very well fried and spiced. Service was very efficient and good! A must taste. Had a early morning flight to Taipei - landed 06:40am! Wandering around Taipei Main Station for lunch. Saw this shop. Ordered beef slice and tendon with thin noodles. Broth aromatic without overwhelming. Both the beef slices and tendon was heavenly; best I had so far. Noodles was fresh made with a wonderful texture. This lunch was most heartwarming... Went there on a busy day. Got a table on the second floor. Wanted to get condiments at the self service stall but they were out of small plates. Asked the staff for some and she told us they are out of them on the second floor and we need to go get them at the first floor. So no condiments for us it is... All staff on the second floor seems overwhelmed on what they need to do as their supervisor was all busy bossing them around on what they need to do. Not a good site for your brand/restaurant image. Noodles arrived, was mediocre and not much flavor. Quickly finished and went downstairs to pay and asked in the local language can we pay by credit card. Cashier responded in English cash only... If we asked in English can we pay by credit card and the staff responded in English cash only we are fine and paying cash is not a problem but not even going to comment, just paid cash and won't even bother coming back. price is reasonable. Communication may be difficult due to the different languages, but the staff helps you with your order as much as possible.
