Can't say I am a tea connoisseur but have tried enough tea around the world to say in confidence that the tea quality from this farm is far superior than most.
Their specialty, the organic honey black tea, has a natural honey fragrance and a subtle hint of sweetness that apparently came from fermentation caused by bee's saliva (....or at least that's what I thought was explained to me lol).
It tastes distinctively different from adding honey into regular black tea,and I love how there's the honey taste without the calories :)
Good hot or iced or made into milk tea, their tea is not the cheapest you will find on the market but definitely the best value for the quality. Highly recommended!
My favourite is the Honey Black Tea. The tea has a depth of flavour that is so satisfying and doesn't leave you with a dry mouth like so many other black teas. The fragrance of honey is incredibly beautiful. I adore this tea so much that I reserve it only for treat days and gift them to the most special people in my life. Thank you to the Li family for this most delicious offering in the world of tea.
I enjoyed the hospitality and tea. However, the tea by itself, carrying the label organic and having won awards is about triple the price of Ali Shan Oolong teas and comes nowhere near the flavor profile of it. Tea easily goes for +1000 ntd for 100g at this place (in Ali Shan this is anywhere from 400 to 600 ntd for 150g). On the premises itself, it doesn't feel like it is a tea farm at all as no processing is done in the store itself. I would say beware as it does feel a bit touristy.
