This is a classy place with great steaks. The sides were amazing and I definitely recommend the crème brûlée corn. My filet was perfectly medium rare with char perfection on the outside. Bacon and blue cheese as a topper was a treat. Top notch service and you even get so choose your style of steak knife. My fiancé and I came here for the first time to celebrate our one year anniversary. We ordered drinks, which was good. I got a short glass of Sex on the Beach with Malibu and I was charged $14. WOWSERS!!! And for half glass of Miscato, it was $10. We ordered the 16 oz prime rib for $55. Talk about a huge steak. It can be shared between 2-3 people. However, a third of the steak was nothing but fat. Everything is a la carte…meaning you have to pay for your sides separately, which is ridiculous. I got a loaded baked potato for $10. My fiancé got onion rings, which was huge, as well, for $10. When our server brought out a box of knives to choose for our steak, I thought it was a box of cigars. LOL!!! Super good. Very flavorful. Just too expensive for average Joe’s like us. However…it was a good experience. Me and my wife decided hey the kids are all over with their significant others for Thanksgiving so lets go to Branson for Thanksgiving! We arrived and booked our dinner reservation. We arrived a little early. Front desk was so polite and sat us right away. Jason our waiter was informative, helpful, and tactful as a waiter. He mixed up his position correctly not to be too over bearing and not to be non existent. The food was delicious and teased our pallet like a restaurant should. The drink pours were proportionate for the wine, wood duck reserve bourbon, and old fashion. We were so please we decided to skip the line somewhere else for our Turkey feast to come back after his recommendation. This place bleeds old world charm and satisfied our night perfectly. Thank You Jason, L2S and staff!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Anniversary dinner and was the best in a very very long time. From the Old Fashions we started with all the way to the Missouri Butter Cake, nothing disappointed. We split every item and both left very full. L2 does not scrimp on portion size for anything. The tuna on the Himalayan Salt block was a very good surprise, highly recommend. Was introduced to a Caesar salad topped with a poached egg. Never have I ever but will seek that experience out again and again. We were too late to experience the Prime Rib but subbed the Ribeye. Asked for medium rare PLUS — perfection! The added touch of knife selection was a unique experience. Mike, the sous chef, came out for a visit and what a wealth of knowledge. Don’t pass up the olive tapenade for your sour dough slices. The Crème of Corn Brûlée, out of this world. NO IDEA how they came up with that but was a nice compliment to the steak. Finished with Missouri Butter cake with vanilla bean ice cream and some sort of heavenly added cream drizzled on top. HOLY SMOKES! Absolutely nothing to rate any part of the this meal or the experience less than 5 stars. Jeremy was our server and he did an excellent job throughout the entire evening. Ask for him, you are in for a real treat. Going to make Level 2 an anniversary tradition. Thanks to the kids for a grand surprise. Food is cooked to perfection and exactly what you ordered if the restaurant is full they have a giant bar and lounge where you can eat and relax with perfect hospitality. The wife and myself enjoy going there all the time and yes it's a bit more expensive then other places but you will not be let down with all the amazing flavors and they care about what you want and will strive to make you happy. I love to choose my knife for my steak! I got a tomahawk! Great steak! Not the best I got, but definitely a good piece! The waiter was excellent! I would recommend the shrimp and the dessert -butter cake That’s a great restaurant for couple, family, etc. There is a menu that could please everyone! I really hate writing a negative review, but I wish we would have been warned before we spent money and time here. We had reservations for 4 people. We arrived about 5 minutes before our reservation and we were promptly sat at our table. From there it went downhill as we waited 25 minutes before we saw our waiter. At that point we received a glass of water and 4 slices of bread. We put in our drink order and appetizer order. We received our drinks 20 minutes later and our appetizer 30 minutes after we ordered. We sat there for 1 hour only receiving a glass of water, 1 drink each, bread and 2 appetizers. At this point we asked for our ticket, which was $120 and decided to leave and go somewhere else. What little food we got was good which is the only reason I gave them 2 stars. We ordered the shrimp cocktail which consisted of 3 jumbo shrimp and the Whiskey Beef Saute. The Whisky Beef Saute was great and very flavorful. We were very disappointed that we couldn’t experience the rest of our meal, but we were thirsty and hungry and we didn’t want to wait another hour to receive mediocre service at best. Tuna appetizer was awesome. Prime rib was good and the airline fried chicken was delicious. Loved the sides. Had cheese & noodles, asparagus and baked potato. Cheese cake was great. Server did a great job. Also like choosing a knife to use. After 5 visits you get a custom engraved knife that you use every time you visit.
