The service is excellent. But the bathrooms smell like piss (girls), the pulled chicken was dried out and hard, the bun it came on was hard. Onion rings were amazing, the burger was raw when we ordered medium, the bun was also hard. Potato salad was bland. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Tons of TVs, open floorplan so lots of tables, definitely crowded when we went for Saturday lunch so was pretty loud. Was craving burgers and pastrami and they had both so we tried them. Started with the half pound wings buffalo style, these were large and had great flavor, will definitely get those again! Pastrami was excellent, we got the 10oz and it was no joke. You add your own mustard, I personally like pickle slices so I used the ones for the hamburger. They give you a spear with the sandwich, but I just don't want to take a bite put down the sandwich then take a bite of pickle, so just my quirk there. The black and blue burger was good, bacon is nicely cooked and they offer your option of cooking temp for the burger. They have shoestring fries which were great. Tried the onion rings, good flavor but A bit greasy, so didn't finish those. Service was great, super friendly server, very knowledgeable. Will come back for sure. Delicious pastrami on rye. Thin fries are awesome, as well. Nachos and wings were fantastic. Service is amazing. Lots of TV's to watch games. Great central location right off I-64/40 and Clayton Rd. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Reuben the Great
Group of us went here for lunch after the Baptism, the place is nice looking for sports bar. It is confusing trying to get to parking lot off of Clayton Rd...very congested. Need a side road to get back behind the buildings where the restaurant is located. Food was decent, ok and would try it again. Everyone seemed happy with the restaurant, no complaints. We took advantage of the pork steak special. It was hot, delicious and tender. Pedro the owner is “hands on.” He not only seated us, he even remembered us from our last visit and where we sat! Jessy our server, was very attentive and personable. It’s quite evident of the mutual respect that exists between Pedro and his staff. Delicious food, esp the deli sandwiches which are enormous. Very bar-like atmosphere (as advertised….it is a bar, of course), but it can feel like ‘middle-aged white male central’ depending on what time you’re there. Happy hour could be made even better if there was a wider array of local draft beers and food specials (but what they do have is good). Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Their sliced meat sandwiches are delicious and LOADED. Loved the potato salad and the french fries are crispy shoestring fries. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and found the place to be more like an upscale sports bar/restaurant than a shabby sandwich place. Very clean facility with great food. Staffing was nice and cordial. Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I have been to Lester's a few times while visiting my family in St Louis. It is a decent sports bar and a great place to catch whatever game you are trying to watch. However, the food has never blown me away. I went with my sister and her son and they were very accommodating and gave us a booth. Service is always friendly and quick. They also were quick to give my nephew an ice water with a top on it, which pleased him. My sister got the Buffalo Chicken wrap which was pretty big and looked delicious. My nephew got the kids mini burgers with fries (the fries were amazing). I got a half Caesar salad and the chili. Both were fine but not amazing. I also got some Sour Pickles as a starter. They were not good. I prefer a Kosher Dill and these just weren't all that good. All in all, this place is decent, especially if you are looking for sports. However, I think there are probably better places in St Louis.
All the food was piping hot and delicious! We had the good fortune to have Travis as our server. He is very personable and super attentive to his guests. We were impressed that Pedro the owner, was there on a Sunday, checking on each table of guests.
