Very good food, Leopoldina and family are super nice also, good vibes next to the beach. Local place. 100% recommend. A must not miss. We had the grilled prawns and asked for a bit of Matapa on the side Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Some of the best food we've had in Mozambique. Very simple, rustic place and cuisine but you get to eat authentic, cheap food while supporting a local family. Plus Leopoldina and her family are super nice to chat with! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Absolutely INCREDIBLE meal! The grilled chicken was out of this world! The service was amazing and what an atmosphere! Thank you Vado, you guys were exceptional hosts! We’ll most definitely be back! We had Matapa and grilled prawns, good was top notch. What a great local experience, we sat with the owner and she gave us heaps of great recommendations. So friendly and kind and genuine. Highly recommend Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice little place, friendly people but I think it is a bit overrated. Average food in a 'local' place with way above the local prices I feel. It is nice for once but that's it. Still... make sure to go I'd say. Just don't expect too much.

I really like this place. It's a Mozambican owned family run restaurant. For that reason the physical structure of the restaurant is very modest at the moment. The food is really good and although prices are slightly more than other local establishments a good sized meal there is still only around $7.

Delicious local food cooked at Leopoldina's home with her sisters. The place is in their courtyard and you experience home-made cooking with fresh ingredients and delicious flavour. The paella was AMAZING (and we live in Barcelona!!), the matapa as well. Highly recommended 😊 Meal type Dinner

Hands down the best paella i've every had in my entire life. I don't know how the did it but it just tasted so incredibly good. However it wasn't very cheap considering prices of nearby places (700 meticals if I remember correctly). Don't be fooled by the first impression. You will get great local food with fresh fish and sea food. Friendly staff. TIP: Stop by the place before to pre-order and you will have everything ready when you arrive to eat.

Lovely one-room restaurant that is run out of a family home. We came as a group of 5 and they were able to accommodate us quickly. We all had some delicious shakshuka and appreciated having a location to eat so close to where we were staying (Baobob beach). I suspect prices are higher than other local restaurants, but still very good value location. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
