Very popular with locals and tourists. Situated in a small complex with its own parking. Lots of little shops in the complex to browse. They claim to have the best capuccino in town for 3 years running. Had the mince on toast which was a large portion and very nice. Lots of seating. The filter coffee was so good it requires special mentioning. The waffle with banana, pecans, maple syrup and creme friache was light and tasty and not often found in places that serves this type of delicatessen. This cosy bistro is a must, when you visit underberg. The manager Leon is a dream, quite but very good 👍 at his job. This place runs like a well oiled machine 😊. They have the best cuppucino and tasty waffles 😍, and much more. We visited on a late June afternoon during load shedding, but the place was warm and cosy. After some lentil soup, we shared a bunny chow, which was quite good, and ended the meal with a delicious brownie with ice cream. Nice place. We had breakfast twice at this beautiful place. We were served by the head chef Lee Ann and found her a delightful and warm person. We were later greeted by the owners Elsabe and her husband and had conversations like we were old friends. Food and cuppocino' s were amazing. Well worth the visit. Loved this quaint place, the food was awesome, the service was exceptional, it was during loadshedding, and we were informed and given a choice as to where we could sit, service was always with a smile and always willing to assist us. It's one place one must visit, when in underberg. The trout was the highlight, the best by far.

Have not been to Lemon Tree Bistro in roughly ten years, so was not sure what to expect when we popped in for breakfast. But it's great to see that the restaurant is still well run. The staff are friendly and attentive, the breakfast we had was delicious. The atmosphere is also very pleasant and there is outdoor seating available.
