Way better than typical bar food. I've had and loved the chicken parmesan sandwich and calzone (pictured). Fries have the best coating anywhere. Relatively unknown but excellent food and service. First visit But won’t be the last ! We had the Detroit style pizza. It was amazing!! This place has awesome atmosphere, very clean , very polite staff , delicious food, I’m so glad we stopped in. Lefty’s is the best pizza spot in town. I’ve been in Morgantown for about a decade now and have had all the pizza spots in town at least once. Lefty’s is by far the best. The cherry on top is their customer service. One time my takeout order was given to someone else accidentally, so my order had to be remade. It took maybe 10 minutes, and to say sorry, they gave me a free order of fries and a $20 gift card. My recommendation is to get a salad (the ranch vinaigrette is incredible) and a Detroit style pie that sounds good to you (my go to is the Mother Teresa). Nice spot for pizza. Chill mood and music playing, nice relaxed environment. Pizza is really good. The sauce is excellent, not too sweet, and full of flavor. They load up on the pepperoni, so it was a little on the salty side, but I'm pretty sensitive to salt so it may just be me. Next time I will ask for a little less pepperoni to balance it out. We will definitely be back.

Overall just a bad experience. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza for pickup and it didn't even have pepperoni on it. On top of that, the pizza was just bland and not very good for the price. Cooks can’t handle a little bit of pressure on a busy day. Paid $50 for 2 pizzas and waited 30 minutes past my scheduled pick up time. Pizza ended up being burnt, couldn’t bite through it. The two waitresses working were great and remained calm while everyone was waiting on their food. At Lefty's Place, and with company, enjoyed wings and split a pizza, with iced tea. Pizza was thin crust with 5 toppings and was very appealing to the taste. Being from Cincinnati, I was reminded of the specific aroma from the restaurants of my past. Reccomend also trying other offerings on the menu. The tavern pie is a wonderful thing and crunchy pizza. The wings and sandwiches are phenomenal as well. Be sure to try the signature items like the addictive fries. The menu is well thought out. The cup and char pepperoni is stellar and sets off any pizza. The only knock was our pizza took nearly an hour at lunch on a weekend and we were the only table and our drinks ran empty without refills... The wings were spicy (not a knock) and more water was needed. Hoping this was just a one off on our most recent visit. Wow! Put this on your bucket list to eat here. Great place to take some friends and partake in the wealth of pizza creations this place has. First time eating here it has a small bar and sit down eating area, with music playing from a playlist I enjoyed. We had three in our party and on a Friday night around 8:30 we were able to get a table with no wait. We ordered the garlic bread, the Mother Teresa, the Margherita, and a pepperoni pizza. The garlic bread had a layer of cheese, dough was soft, and made it great to submerge in sauce. The Mother Teresa and Margherita pizzas were a thick crust, Detroit style pizza. The Mother Teresa was exploding with flavor and was similar to a Buffalo Chicken pizza but with more flavors and was well thought out. I really liked the Margherita pizza with the red sauce & cheese on the thick crust. The pepperoni pizza was a thin crust similar to Columbus style pizza and the pepperoni had a slight curl to them. All of the food came straight from the oven as it was hot. Service was excellent and the restaurant was moderately busy. We will be back. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100

My cousin Sean is a huge fan and I’ve always had it when visiting at his place but never dined in, was in town for a concert last night and took a friend there to eat food was amazing as always service was excellent. Friend left saying Hel make the two hour drive just for the food.
