Excellent food and drink with friendly, attentive service. The lobster roll was buttery and succulent and the fish and chips fresh as can be and piping hot! The Simple Salad side was also to die for!!! Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish and Chips
We're not really bar types but this was a nice place. Well decorated, music channel playing, 3 TVs that I saw with various sports stuff on. We stopped at an Irish pub in Saratoga and enjoyed it so we thought we'd have good luck here. We ordered the shepherd's pie and we were underwhelmed considering it cost $25. The vegetables they served with it were fresh but under cooked and the pie was barely warm overall and had several cold spots. It went back to be reheated and came back with steam but still not evenly heated. The taste was ok but not like the quality we had in Saratoga. I believe they make it ahead of time and either freeze or refrigerate it until needed. There was no live music but a nice gas fireplace next to our seats which was nice considering it was a cold and rainy night and we walked from the Elmhurst Inn about 1/2 mile away. If you like bars and come for the drinks and not the food you'll probably enjoy this place. It's one of the few places open during the off season in Bar Harbor. The place was relatively busy considering there's nobody in town but we were sat right away and service was good. Not what I would consider worth $60 for two dinners and two coffees.Edited to add: bathroom was a mess pee and paper towels all over the floor, toilet not flushed garbage overflowing. Price per person $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Fish and chips wins the best food item in Bar Harbor hands down! Rueben is excellent. Old Fashion by Max is stellar! I feel stupid writing this review because it will likely cause my wait time to increase when we go, and that is OFTEN. Price per person $30–50

Leary's Landing was highly recommended by some travelers that we ran into in Vermont. We agree with them! We were there on a Friday night and they were very busy! We found seats at the bar until our table was available and enjoyed one of their signature cocktails, the fuzzy which had cucumber, vodka and Prosecco. It was the perfect start to our evening. We probably waited for 20 minutes for a table, but the time flew by. We started with calamari and it was so fresh and crisp. If you are a calamari fan, order it! Hubby had the fish and chips and the fish filet was huge. He gave it a two thumbs up! I had shepherd pie for the first time. The mash potatoes, veggies and beef were the perfect comfort meal for a chilly night. I would order it again (and again). The service was great including the bartender and server. It seems like your friendly neighborhood bar! They do not take reservations. Price per person $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fish and Chips

This is no ordinary pub. The food here is elevated and probably the best pub food I have ever had. The fish and chips was positively divine, the fish stew I could eat everyday for the rest of my life and the burgers were near perfect. Will be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I had the pub fries and bangers and mash. Both were very good! I had Cameron from the bar who served me. He was a great bartender and was always making sure everything was good! Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Pub Fries
Our group got here pretty late for a weeknight, but we were happily served outside at one of the sidewalk tables. Food hit the spot & the beer selection was decent. The real winner here was the whiskey selection and its prices. We came back a2nd day just for drinks. After questioning if the correct pour was received one round, the owner verified the issue and corrected the mistake with an additional 1oz. This will be on the list of which places to return the next time we're up this way. Price per person $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes Off All Draft Beer
The fish and chips was really good. The fish chowder was yummy. The Caesar salad was good. I didn’t like the blackened haddock sandwich. Service was great. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3

Best calamari I have ever had. So good, I asked for a second order. My wife also got a lobster roll and claimed it was one of the best rolls she tried while we were visiting Acadia national park. I will be coming back to this place on our next visit. Price per person $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Irish Cider Mussels
