Delicious Italian dishes by Italian chef with authentic & imported ingredients. My husband ordered pizza en I have carbonara with dried pork cheek called “guanciale” in Italian language and we both love the foods, their restaurant is very clean, they are friendly and the view in amazing as you can see. Recommended!

Interesting story to share about this great restaurant!
I traveled to Chumpon recently for a bicycle race and while staying at this beautiful beach, I was craving spaghetti bolognese.
However, during my 5 day stay at Thung Wua Laen beach I went to Le Betole 3 nights in a row and wasn't able to get a table, the first and second night they were full, the third night they had been fully booked by a group for dinner.
However on the day before leaving Chumpon, I bicycled past the restaurant only to see that they were closed that day, but the owner Khun Paolo came out of the kitchen to say hi nonetheless.
I told Khun Paolo that I had been trying to eat at his restaurant for a few times and was disappointed that I couldn't.
To my surprise, when he heard this, he offered to open a table just for me and my wife and we finally got to eat the spaghetti bolognese we had been craving for, despite Le Betole being closed.
Such a great and heartwarming experience, Khun Paolo opened just for me and I got to eat a very well prepared and hearty serving of spaghetti. Thank you so much to Khun Paolo and his lovely family.
Would definitely highly recommend Le Betole to anyone and everyone looking for proper good Italian food when visiting this beautiful beach.

Lovely restaurant. Friendly greetings from staff and owners. We sat at a table looking at the beach and fishing boats in the distance.

It was some of the best Thai food we have ever had and the owners were incredibly sweet and told us what to do in Chumphon and Koh Samui since they used to live there. They were friends before our dinner was over and they told us what tourist traps to avoid. I highly recommend this restaurant for its cuisine and hospitality!
On a cycling tour around Thailand after a long day on the road I ended up eating a delicious big sized pizza composed of Italian ingredients made by a friendly Italian owner.
The chairs are very comfy which completed this positive experience.
