A great place for hotel buffet in KK! The food variety is good, majority of them tastes great and Dining in a nice atmosphere. A must go for buffet lovers - definitely value for money. Meal type Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Went for the weekend dinner buffet. Not sure if it's the final one before the Ramadhan selection begins but I feel it was a bit ordinary compared to other Le Meridien buffets I've gone to. The food is okay, but I feel the selection is limited. Having said that, my favorite was the Chicken Stroganoff, Peking duck, Chicken Satay and the cakes. The drinks offered are only Coffee, Tea or Water. The biryani is a bit of a fail. All others are just meh okay la. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 120–140

One of the better place in Kota Kinabalu. The food was satisfying, flavourful & succulent. Service given by by the staff was also outstanding. What really stood out was the assistance and helpfulness given by a particular staff named Anna. I forgot what her full name was btw. She was of wonderful help, assisting us with our Club Marriot membership discounts. Mind you, we have stayed in hotels all over the world and also a member of Marriot Bonvoy and countless of hotel chains memberships, we know when a good service has been rendered. She certainly went above our expectation of help. Le Meridien certainly has a gem of a staff. One of orders that we had was Oxtail Assam Pedas. It was heavenly and recommended. This hotel chain certainly would be my go to place whenever I'm in town next. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person RM 40–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tried their most tempting Ramadan buffet; dishes were more towards heavily saltiness and sweet. Gearbox soup is awesome experience, but the mee soup is disgustingly salty. Though its seem lots of varieties, but they don’t refill the food.A pity for the late arrivals. Desserts are limited, soup base desserts are rather thick yet not tasty.and with this high price you still don’t find any Baskin Robins or Hagen-daez ice cream, but only ordinary ABC.and many food doesn’t heat hot enough. So less fruits, u only find jeruk dish(pickled fruits) the most.

I stayed here and ate their breakfast buffet. I've always looked forward to my Nasi Lemak in the morning and I was very disappointed that their rice was uncooked and had raw bits. I pointed it out to the chef and requested for a new cooked plate of rice, but after waiting for 30 minutes, and complaining to another server, I just left because nothing was done. These 4 stars are ONLY for the buttery and airy croissants. They were fresh from the oven and heavenly. Well done!

one of the best buffett in kk..
Latest Recipe in Le Meridien Kota Kinabalu serves mainly as the breakfast buffet eatery for in-house guests and for dinner as well. A la carte dining is also available here. Easily found on the right hand side of the lobby through the main entrance of the hotel, the restaurant comfortably sits about over a 100 people with mainly square tables that seat four pax at most. The breakfast buffet generally sports a decent spread and will satisfy most in-house guests with a moderate selection of Western and local choices. However, its dinner buffets are generally average in both quality and selection. It probably won't make top pickings for city dwellers looking for a good weekend dinner treat.
Very bad experience today (2.41pm, 5 Feb 23). It took more than 40mins for food to be served. Apologies will not get our hunger fullfilled. Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
