Awesome experience but be sure to call ahead for reservations. Outdoor seating on a hilltop patio with the ocean in the distance. Food prepared fresh with care by a family operated business. Started with locally sourced fruit salad with house made honey sauce on the side. Perfectly ripe. Main course was coconut/banana pancakes and crisp tortilla shells filled with scrambles eggs, cheese and a very generous portion of salmon. The food was excellent, the hospitality was genuine and a highlight of our trip. Never thought we would find a place like this after driving down winding roads off the beaten path. Definite can’t miss spot for foodies.

I had the most spectacular brunch served by the most kind and hospitable owner of a restaurant I have ever met. Gladys is the highlight of Las Vistas Café. The food is simply delicious too! Thank you for the beautiful experience! Ask Gladys how she feels about Frida.✨

10/10!!! This is more of an experience than just a meal. Upon arrival, you are greeted by Gladys the owner, and she asks you your name and commits it to memory for the entirety of your meal. She politely explains that all of the food is made to order, and that patrons looking for a quick bite may be better off elsewhere. This is not the place for rushing, so sit back and enjoy. Gladys offers you a fruit platter upon seating to nosh on while you place your order. The breathtaking views are only matched by the quality of the food and beverage. We ordered the famous coco banana pancakes (get them), as well as scrambled eggs and bacon. We also ordered the homemade basil lemonade which delightfully tangy. Overall, this place embodies the warm hospitality of Puerto Rico, as well as her natural splendor.

Owners are friendly and welcoming. Food was tasty and well presented. It’s a roof top restaurant above the owners house. Great ocean and bioluminescent bay view
Just a heads up that the fruit salad offered by the owner is not complimentary. She made it sound like it is complimentary but it’s not.
This place is lovely from the start. Situated on the roof on the top of a hill. 360 views of the ocean. There is not a bad seat in the house. Cute palapas umbrellas invites us in and a slow breeze.
The owner Gladys came over and shook our hands and introduced herself. She brought us a fresh plate of cut up fruit with a delicious honey sauce to dip them in while we waited to look at the menus. Much of it was from her garden and trees.
Hakim (sorry if I spelled this wrong) took care of use and was generous with his sense of humor. Everyone is bilingual but he let us practice our Spanish.
The food was delicious. My husband got the breakfast burrito. Filled with generous pieces of sausage and bacon he stated it was incredible. It came with these crispy fried potatoes. I had the coco banana pancakes with eggs. They brought whipped butter with that and syrup. It was served with potatoes.
This is our new favorite breakfast place on the east side. We will be returning next time we make it back to this side of the island. This was a five star experience all around.

Tropical Fruit Bowl
Owner brought over the house fruit bowl as if it was complimentary. Turns out it was the only appetizer the place offered and she just assumes everyone would want it. Most of the bowl was filled with pineapple and not worth $14.
The waiter just poured us coffees before bringing over the drinks or any kind of menu. The coffee was terrible and possibly brewed ages ago. And got charged $4 per person. They did have some other drink options but it was too late by the time I found out.
Food was decent although it took about an hour for it to arrive. You only have one pancake option if you do not eat meat or eggs just an FYI.
Owner asked us if we wanted to tip 18 or 20 percent, as if we had no other choice. I am not against tipping but it’s uncomfortable when it feels like I’m being forced to pick between two numbers of her choice.
It is a rooftop place, and therefore had great views, would’ve been better if there was a fan or some kind of air conditioning since it was really hot and humid the day we went.

It was one of the best breakfasts I've had in a while. The food speaks for itself. It was so good we returned the next morning. The owner, Gladis, is sweet and very personable with all her guests. She explains her menu. All food is cooked to order. Very nice view from the seated roof top dining area.
