Great little coffee shop run by a young couple on the Luye Highland. Came on a Sunday morning. Families were watching kids run on the grass. Good coffee made better by the homemade pastries. Cute decor. Tranquil place.
Hiking from the train station to this plateau is exhausting. The big hotel/restaurant did not serve food to me that I was forced to find an alternative option. Wandering around the place brought me to the Lao Wang Coffee that looked a bit costly at first sight. I needed energy that I ordered Black Pepper Chicken Rice. I chose a hot americano as coffee or tea hot or cold were included.
Surprisingly, I got a soup also. Personally, I am not a big fan of soups. Hence, I leave it with you to evaluate the soup.
The chicken was well done and strong in pepper flavour. I loved it! Beans and rice were decorated with black and white sesame - such lovely touch on my tongue!
If there is an opportunity to come back in the future, I will order my food here again - maybe even exact the same meal.
