I am shocked and very disappointed in how my day was spoiled by the restaurant at Langebaan Country Estate, Langebaan on Sunday, 15_10_23
I had made a reservation for 12h00 for myself and my wife specifically at table 9 for the views. However, when we arrived, we were told that we could not sit there, despite the fact that our reservation was confirmed.
The restaurant was almost empty, but there was no calm Sunday lunch atmosphere. The TV was loud and was playing cricket commentary, and the music from a different source, was rap and beat box. I had to go to reception to ask them to turn down the volume on the TV, which they did. However, they did not change the music.
We ordered the beef roast with baked potatoes, fried cabbage, and mixed vegetables. The food was cold and badly presented. The rice was tasteless.
The beef was sliced thinly and was pale and overcooked. It also had a sour taste and a bad smell.
The mustard sauce was okay, but it did not hide the bad smell of the meat.
When I called the waiter over to complain, she came back and said that it must have been the heat in the kitchen that made the meat smell bad. She offered to bring us something else on the menu.After that smell we could not face any food.
We have eaten at the restaurant many times in the past and the food has always been average. However, this was a disaster. I will not be returning.
I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Staff and good prices, the view and relaxed vibes keeps me coming back. The personal touch and bartenders like Margerath and Stixx, even the others names I forget make you feel at home. Their service deserves more than being abused by many people expecting miracles. Keep the great service up

“The best ever” vegan pizza, was the most disgusting pizza I have ever seen and can’t believe they actually sell it, nevermind for R105.00. On the menu it sounds great, we bought 3 to go and returned them the next morning as they were absolutely disgusting. Hardly any of the toppings listed were on the pizza, made very poorly, and incredibly dry. Been vegan for years and have never had to return anything before!
Been trying to get hold of the restaurant manager since yesterday, called 5 times, stopped there, left my contact details 3 times and have not yet heard back from them.
Absolutely shocking customer service. Would not recommend.
The ultimate bar for the hopefully golfers of tomorrow,,, admosphere fabulous and so the view,,, spacious place that can host any occasion,,,, just a wondaful place to visit eat and enjoy.
The Langebaan Country Estate has great facilities. I attended a function at the ClubHouse. The function room was superbly decorated and the rooms were neat and tidy. I will soon again visit as my first visit made an excellent impression.
