I was walking around the lake with my little cousin last week we watched the fish get planted, and as usual, there was about six anglers fishing. On the dock we witnessed a employee being exceptionally rude to the fisherman saying “that’s not real fishing” and things like “I’m closing this down because I know your social media group” my jaw dropped blatant discrimination because he was simply jealous I asked him afterwards where this policy was in writing, but he told me there was no policy stating that you have to close that doc, he just had to “show them who’s boss” your employees can’t just discriminate against people because they are jealous I looked at the policy it states no fishing 100 feet from the plant that Dock is over 300 feet away from the plant which would make closing it against policy ,
Your employees are out of control. You must have a word with them specifically the white guy that always wears the baseball cap with the hair that goes behind his ears.
Edit Lake Chabot responded by saying that they addressed this internally and spoke to the employee involved, but I saw the exact same employee doing the exact same thing the following week when I was teaching my grandma how to fish next to the dock, he said things like that’s not real fishing he kicked two disabled people off of that dock, and threatened to call the cops. Again this is obviously not a coincidence, and you obviously did not take take care of this internally. This is very disappointing the fact that your employee would kick to elderly disabled people off of the dock, purely because of his ego is alarming, is clearly stated in Eastbay parts policy that it is completely legal to fish over 100 feet from the stocking area my grandma is almost 90 years old. She does not want to see people getting yelled at and harassed for simply fishing for the fish that they pay for.
