I think this has the best dumplings in Taipei, the skin is not too thick and overpowering or chewy, there is a lot of meat and the dumpling explodes in your mouth. The meat dumplings taste really good. We also had the pig scalp dish... husband loved but I wasn't a fan... also had the sour soup which I felt was okay.

Happen to pass by this dumpling shop, quickly jump in line, queue was moving fast, got a seat and ordered 20 dumplings and some small side dishes. The dumpling skin is no thick nor chewy… very good. The fillings was cabbage and minced pork, very lightly marinated.. very good…..

Very average dumplings… wasn’t worth the stomach space.
Service was also unfriendly as our group only ordered a portion of 10 pieces to takeaway.

They had a very bad and stuck-up attitude. They insisted each customer minimum need to order at least 5pieces dumplings in order to dine in.
In the end, it is so wasteful because we cannot finish all the 15 pieces of dumplings.
The pork and cabbage dumplings filling had a very porky taste and was mixed with a lot of fat. We will not patronise them again.

Love the dumpling so much. I'm a bit full actually when we arrived at this night market. But we saw so many people queue on weekdays and all the table is full house. I was thinking to try just one piece but end up I share with my brother half portion (1portion is 10pcs). The sour soup also ok. These 2menu cost 115TWD only. Walk out with happy tummy lol...
The dumplings were pretty nice and the side dishes were tasty as well
But the environment wasn’t really satisfying since it wasn’t as clean and hygienic as how I would like it to be
However, if you’re just having a quick nice meal, this would be the right place to go to
Famous stall here in the night market with fresh popular boiled dumplings, with a thick chewey hand made skin. Prices are cheap and side dishes are delicious (recommend cucumber, thousand year egg tofu, and pig foot slices with chilli peppers). Soup is also very good, tastes like a hot and sour soup but... without the hot and sour, until you season it yourself using the condiments given! But it's very big portion even for small serving and filling. The hot dumplings taste like such a classic comfort meal.
The service is famously very crass here, I personally don't mind being rushed etc except when a staff member was cleaning a table behind me they spilled sauce all over the back of my jacket which was really unfortunate... another couple customers told us soon, so hopefully I can get the stain out :( but the food is delicious!
The dumpling place has been in this area for more than 30+ years. The dumpling was too soft for me and the soup was soso. But still recommend people to come to try out the most famous dumpling in the area.
It’s good but overrated. Min order is 10 so try to go in a bigger group so you have appetite to eat other food. It’s cheap but would rather save my tummy for other food in the night market
