Visited Laem Ya restaurant at Rayong Beach. The Thai food is standard with additional Western options. Unfortunately, on New Year's Eve, lunch service was lacking attention due to the upcoming evening party. Our friends, arriving later, couldn't order as the kitchen was prepping for dinner. Wish they'd informed us initially. It’s poor communication.
Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed—perhaps tired from the festive season. Communication, especially in English, posed challenges. Brace yourself for that. The bar raised trust concerns, so we stuck to beer. 😝
Previously it’s better, the beachside location now faces increased activity for the car and truck traffic, making it less safe for kids. The beach cleanliness, particularly in front of the restaurant, is disappointing. A bit of cleanup would enhance the view and prevent customers from being put off by the surrounding rubbish.

Love the seafood and food here, fresh and good taste. Value for spending money and time. A great manager help us with his warm service like a friend. A-roi-mak-ka ❤️
This restaurant is on the narrow lane down to many resorts till the end of road. Can walk through Had-mae-ram-pung beach to this restaurant in 10-15 minutes. Many hostels and aren't far from here. Nice view and good location.

Petit resto sympa, les pieds dans l eau, souvent des animations, musique , bar pour boire un coup au soleil couchant, très belle plage devant le resto, effectivement beaucoup de farangs 🙂

Littéralement les pieds dans l´eau ...fréquenté surtout par des expatriés, la nourriture exclusivement Thaïe est abondante .Le service est un peu désordonné, l´addition en Thaïe est difficile à contrôler.
Les prix sont comme les plats..moyens en 2022 chers en 2023 ou je viens de revenir.
Vous pouvez trouver aussi bien ou mieux le lond de la plage .

A good seaside eatery with a decent bar and quick service. It is pocket friendly too.
Located right on the beach in a shaded zone, one can spend a few hours eating, drinking and just relaxing.
