I came to the bakery today January 25, 2024 at 8:30pm and they told me they couldn’t prep my food because they had a lot of things to do even though they close at 9:00 pm . I like this place but the service offered to me today was very disappointing. I hope to be treated differently the next time I go.
Service: 1
First of all I wish this place was searchable as a restaurant too.I searched for Mexican food and this does not show up because it under bakery. They serve Authentic Oaxacan food and pan dulce.
Pro's:
♥3 for $5.00 mini Burritos ☺Cactus and pork are my favorite.
♦Entomatadas is kinda like enchilada but they have cheese inside only, pretty good I tried with both the egg and beef.
♦But if you are going there truly looking for the Oaxacan experience try a TLAYUDA IT IS BASICALLY A MEXICAN PIZZA, The bottom or crust is similar to a big tortilla but harder, with beans, lettuce meat, and meat of your choice.
♦friendly staff.
CON'S: This place is small, things could be organized better I do not like going into places seeing there stored unused items. I wish there was bit more of a Oaxacan feel to it maybe some art?
♦♦ lastly the only reason they did not get 5 stars from me... They don't have Chapolienes (grasshoppers) usually served at Oaxacan Restaurants.
I usually go to Los Angles to get them at a restaurant there.
This place is definitely authentic. Had to get laundry done per work related. And sure enough got hungry needs a little improvement on image but thats what makes the place worth it. Great food its a must and great service. Dialed as i would categorize it.
They make delicious food for breakfast it's inexpensive & they also make Mexican bread coffee hot chocolate it's a great place to go for a quick delicious bite to eat.
I love tlayudas. It's not easy to find a place to get them, but La Soledad has them, and they were good. Unfortunately the place is not big and they didn't have a/a.
