Worst pozole I've ever had. Charged $22 for cold soup (more expensive than most higher star restaurants) and didn't put any lime. When calling to ask about it, I was aburptly dismissed and couldn't speak to the manager. Would not recommend to those who like quality mexican traditional food. Taco bell has higher standards. The pozole was not good at all. The consistency is so thick, and it legit taste and looks like the just poured a bottle of bbq sauce in it. And they didn’t even put lime on my take out order, and not to mention it was so overpriced
Great food but tough service. The kitchen never got our ticket (we were one of the few there at the time), and our waiter didn't tell us about the delay. Charging for a second Pepsi given it was fountain soda was a bit much too. Still would go back as the atmosphere and food is quite good. This place is not it. Not worth the money. Service is ***excruciatingly*** slow. The food is bland. They cheap out on ingredients. 2 margaritas took 40 minutes. And they misgendered my child with no acknowledgement or apology. Waited 40 minutes for two margaritas and one agua fresca. Another 40 minutes after that for three orders of tacos. An hour and a half for 3 orders of tacos on a slow Thursday night is unacceptable. We ordered the chorizo and papas taco, and there were only 3 pieces of potato. Servers were standing around talking to each other, not the least bit concerned with their tables or the speed of service. They don't care about you or your experience, but they'll gladly take your money. Avoid this place and patronize other local, family owned, authentic Mexican restaurants. There are many excellent options in nearby Rogers Park. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
