A good beach front bar at Pd area. The menu and food tasted good. Service is okay too. Weekday nights was less crowded and more places to seat. Simple but aesthetic vibes, a great place to chill with a view of the ocean. Prices are reasonable , plenty of parking. Worth a visit if youre in pd area.

A friend mentioned that this place is “like Bali” but at PD.. they have a nice view but it was cloudy when we were there. Not quite like Bali but nicer than most places in Malaysia. Food was quite alright.. ⛅️⛅️⛅️

We had a great family dinner here. Food was surprisingly good and we enjoyed it very much. Service was a bit slow but is understandable on a busy night.
We arrived at the restaurant around 7pm on Friday and found out there's no available table as most have prior reservations.
Big Thank You to the staff quick thinking in which he told us that he can spare a table to us if we can finish dinner before 830pm before the dine-in guest come. We gladly accept it.
Definitely will come back here again if I happen to be In Port Dickson in future.

We celebrate our last dinner visiting Port Dickson at La Playa and it was beautiful. Food was great! BBQ Pizza and Beef Nachos was nicee! The beef stew was nicely average too... But one of them.. I feel like people keep mention it over and over again.. its the oglio olio, taste was good but it was too much oil. A lot of people said it too much oil, I guess they don’t look at the review. The service on the other hand was bad, i saw 2 3 waiter saw us calling them but they just look and tends to bigger group or go inside the bar, for sake idk why? Until another guy saw us but then decide to talk to another waiter, I think the superior. Then the superior point us and asked him to attend us. A bit disappointed. As they are more attentive to big groups and foreigners.
Anyway food was average for the price.

The restaurant is located along the main road in Port Dickson, fronting a beach. The tables are natural wooden ones.
Service is so-so. The wait staff’s English is a little hard to understand as he doesn’t seem local either.
The food is just average.
The chicken chop is just average fare. The fish and chips are ok as well. The burger’s chicken patty is not so nice, as the batter is too hard. The beef stew is also average. We tried the mocktails, which again is just average.
The only plus thing about this place is it’s sunset view.

Nice atmosphere, suitable for a family or friends get together. There's also a live band performance on certain days of the week. What I didn't like on their menu was their mutton fried rice. It would seem as not too generous with the lean meat portions, fatty meat served mainly. The service wasn't too good, perhaps since I didn't have a table reservation done prior and only found myself a seat at the bar area. I would recommend it as one of the best places in PD area if what you are looking for is a beach bar concept place to hangout. Overall, I would rate them 4/5 stars.

‼️Reserve your table before coming❗
Chicken cedup burger is one of the best cafe fried chicken. Chicken is marinated well.
Prawn masala pizza taste standard, not sure if it worth rm30. Prawn is crunchy enough, no fishy smell.
Great for people who enjoy live band and sea view. Can enjoy sunset here.
Finally, remember to reserve your table first.

Visited La Playa Bar and Restaurant in Port Dickson. The boss and staff were friendly, the atmosphere was lively with a crowd, and they served delicious food. The live bands added to the wonderful experience.

Nice place to chill since it overlooks the sea. Came here for the sunset view. Please ensure you make reservation if you want the best seats. Food was quite good. Enjoyed the vibes here. Parking was ample but do come early. Overall we had a good time time.
Updated 30/9/2023: We visited La Playa again after a year and still enjoyed the vibes here. Brought new friends here and had a wonderful time. Food was still good and the songs selection was cool as well. Wished that we could see the sunset but today was very hazy so didn't manage to see it.
