I went back to Newnan to visit family for the week and kept trying to go to La Parrilla. Every night that I went by, the wait time was over 30 minutes (more like an hour). This was even during weeknights. Last Saturday, I was told the same thing but this time I decided to wait. Big mistake. I get seated and had to wait over 30 minutes before I saw a server. As I was being seated, there were a group taking up about four tables (probably about 12 to 20 people). Of course they are the ones causing me and others to wait over an hour. Two people that sat near by also had to wait over 30 minutes for their service. What I got was okay. I ordered flautas and they were probably the hardest corn tortillas I’ve ever seen. I could barely cut it with a knife and fork much less eat it. The brisket was rubbery. I could tell it was overcooked to be rushed out. I wish I took a picture but I was ready to get out after waiting over an hour for food. I ended up asking to not pay for it. The server took it off my bill. The server was nice and helpful so I can’t fault that person for what happened. I just won’t go back to La Parrilla. Olivia the server 100% was on the go and worked her tail off to make sure we got the best service!! She is a hard worker and checks on every table to make sure everyone is comfy and satisfied in the restaurant . Now, let me tell you about Luis the manager. This man deserves an A+!!!! Came over and made sure our Drinks were up to satisfaction when we had messed our own order up! Gentleman and very personable. You can tell he puts his heart and genuineness to every interaction he has. Extremely professional and is definitely the reason we will be returning! Hope he and Olivia get a promotion soon they both worked extremely hard nonstop the whole time we were in the place. Good people that you enjoy and make you come back for more than food. GOD Bless! We had an exceptional experience at the restaurant. Our server was attentive, consistently maintaining eye contact with us. Whenever we needed assistance, a simple gesture was enough to bring her over promptly. The food was served quickly, and it was delicious, piping hot, and made with fresh ingredients. Really nice place, the service was excellent! And the Food was AMAZING!! You can tell it’s gonna be a great experience even before you enter the place cause smells great outside! We told them that it was our first time coming, and they surprised us at the end with a dessert on the house. It was my first time trying this restaurant, and I'm not usually too big on new things. However, I'm glad I tried this place. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, and the service was quick. My server, Erin, was amazing. She was very patient as well as helpful, given that it was my first time and I wasn't sure about the food. My food was delicious and the salsa was the best I've had. Only had to wait 10 at 1pm on a Saturday. Fresh chips and salsa, service was quick and pleasant. I had a Mexicano burrito with rice and beans. Overall very good, plenty of chicken (menu said shredded, but I was happier it was pieces). A little plain, but tasty. La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant One of the several locations of local popular Mexican restaurant. Located in Ashley Park in Newnan GA just off of I-85 exit 47. Very popular. Plenty of free parking. Wide selection of food and beverages. Full bar and great location to hang out or just dine with friends or family. Easy access from I-85 and most parts of Coweta county. Polite and friendly staff. First visit, we went for lunch and although the wait was longer than expected, it was worth it! Great food & service. We had the tableside Guac which was probably some of the freshest avocado we've ever had! Our waitress kept our drinks full and didn't hesitate to make sure chips and salsa stayed stocked also. We had our 2 week old newborn with us and they made sure to slide us into a booth so he could stay comfortable in his carseat and enjoy the atmosphere with us. Yesterday We stopped at La Parrilla in Newnan, GA for a quick lunch. We Have always loved this restaurant and are never disappointed when we stop at any of their restaurants. It seems like the food is always consistently good in the service is top notch! They are attentive and always want you to have a great experience. I had theirlunch number 2, with a beef burrito and cheese enchilada which was excellent. My sister had a chicken Taco Loco which looked fabulous and she loved it!
