The plate I had was very good. Food came out quickly and hot. The service was great and we enjoyed everything that was served. The atmosphere needs some work but it didn't matter much because the food was so good.

Food was very good, service was attentive and personable, atmosphere was better than expected, but still in need of some TLC.
They had a Sunday lunch special of enchiladas (with beans and rice) for 7 bucks and that's an incredible value. They were quite tasty! Also ordered some nachos which were perfectly adequate as well as steak fingers, which were good, albeit fairly small. Overall very satisfied with the meal!
I believe repainting the parking lot to account for larger vehicles and help guide traffic would do them well.
Would recommend and will likely return.

Quick service and food that lives up to the legacy of the owner puts La Historia at the top of my list of restaurants to return to. Their version of the Fuentes special has better queso than other places around town and is a great option for anyone who is not sure what to try.

Great place for lunch or dinner, if you love Tex Mex. . Owner committed to good food and top notch customer service. Nothing went wrong, but if it ever does, they will make it right. Was nice and cool when the West Texas weather was hot, humid, and miserable. Head cook/owner has many, many years of experience cooking and serving Mexican food. Owners and wait staff extremely friendly and helpful. Competitive prices and great lunch specials. Call early for banquet reservations. Children’s menu also available. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.

The food was really good. Hot, fresh, and well seasoned. The service was awesome. They waitress was attentive and prompt. She kept our drinks full and our chips plentiful. We will return.
